Say it with me. M-M-O's. This is how they tend to maintain free dlc/updates. And lowered cost of expansions. Look at WoW, ESO, SWTOR, DCU, etc. They all have some form of a micro transaction. And it works pretty well for them. I keep receiving monthly emails from SWTOR that new dlc has downloaded to the servers and that we should go to these new areas and try them out. And I only bought their starter pack.

  • Whats Funny is, that it falls into the same set as MMOs. Due to alot of its parts. This idea of an "open world shooter". There are so many similarities between this game and MMOs that its hard to argue against that it fits the criteria. I mean seriously. Its not that far of a stretch at all. And all I'm saying is that in games of a similar caliber, the transactions are pretty commonplace. I'm actually surprised they weren't already a thing
