I was testing out different weapons in Mayhem (I never take Mayhem seriously, so it's the perfect place to test stuff) and I managed to kill one with Apple of Discord with Headseeker. :) His shield was already a little low, but it counts. I've been able to shut them down pretty frequently with shadow shot, but it's next to impossible to kill them with just your weapons.
