The short, stocky titan leaned against the railing of the Tower, staring out at the Traveler, his orange gaze falling slowly to the city. The last of his tears fell, trickling down his cheeks and falling into his palms. The Awoken took in a shaky breath, his fists gripping tightly onto the railing, his teeth grinding together, and he let out a frustrated grumble, turning his back to the Traveler and staring at the guardians bustling by to the Vaults, or to the Vanguard, or the Cryptarch. Two weeks ago, his father left with a small group of his closest friends, people he trained with since becoming a guardian, to defeat Oryx. However, not only had the fireteam failed to defeat the king, only two of them made it out alive. His father was not one of them. He sought vengeance, not just for one of the people closest to him, but for his fallen brothers and sisters. However, doing so alone would be asking for suicide. The pale, blue skinned male ran a hand anxiously through his curly locks, biting his lip. He needed a fireteam, but not just any group of ragtag guardians, he needed a skilled group. He considered maybe even training a few guardians himself to prepare for this battle, but how well would that play out? He paced a bit before making a decision, disappearing from the Tower. Later, neatly hung up on each of the Vaults, read a sign-up sheet. Guardian Training: First Come, First Serve. Directed by Jarah Fakhoury. (( Open! ))

  • *A Hooded Warlock saw it. He grabbed the paper. He ripped it into pieces* "How is a weak fool going to train other guardians" *He chuckled*

  • Jarah watched the warlock tear one of his sign up sheets down, his eyes narrowing. His ghost watched analytically as well, glancing over at the guardian warily. "What do you plan to do?" The little light asked. Wordlessly, the small awoken man approached towards the warlock, his hand delicately tapping on the taller man's shoulder. "Excuse me, what do you think you're doing?" He asked in a deadpan tone.

  • *The Warlock began to laugh at the sight of the short man* "Late sprout huh?" *He continued to laugh. The short titan seems to recognize this Warlock's appearance from the leader boards of the crucible. However the warlock is not on them anymore*

  • Jarah rolled his eyes. "That didn't answer my question." He muttered gravely, examining the warlock further. "You were one of the greats in Crucible, yes? That doesn't make you any better than any other guardian-- Especially with an attitude like yours." The awoken stated, his eyes narrowing. He too, was very high on the Crucible scoreboard, and wore the mark to prove so. "Now, I will ask again. Why did you tear down my papers?"

  • "Because your a weak guardian. I have been on the top of the leader boards however I'm not on them because they removed me from the completely due to an incident. So shorty you are not powerful. You never felt true power" *The Warlock had full Trials of Osiris armor except for his Voidfang Vestements*

  • The awoken quirked an eyebrow up at the other. "True *power*? Don't make me laugh. Besides, you have no right to be tearing down my things." He stated, pointing an accusing finger as he hung up a fresh paper. "Furthermore, as you see, I am still on the leaderboards, because I didn't have a little "incident", as you call it. Which brings me to ask, what exactly did you do?"

  • "Why shall I tell you? Kids shouldn't be involved in the tales of men it might give you nightmares" *The Warlock chuckled* "People like you cry at my sight. The nightmares I've given the screams I've caused. You act like a ten year old girl hell you're about as tall as one. Now first off tell me why you act like such a fool. You've probably heard legends of what I have done. What I have caused"

  • "The legends of what you've done? No, not in particular, for I was not raised here, where stories of guardians are passed down. So, do enlighten me, O' great guardian I should fear and have nightmares every night from!" He scowled sourly, his words laced with sarcasm as he spoke. Overall, the small titan seemed unimpressed by the warlock's tough talk, especially since he seemed to only be just that: Talk, no action.

  • "Maybe people will pass this story down. The one of me ending you" *The Warlock grabs his sword and uses it to pin the titan to the ground. The titan is at a checkmate a sword to his neck, the fire from the sword was burning the titan* "Weak fool. Tell me why I should spare you?"

  • Jarah let out a shocked yelp as he fell back, glaring up at the warlock as the sword's radiating heat stung his skin, beginning to burn the flesh. "A true guardian would not kill his brothers and sisters when they have done nothing wrong against them." His fists clenched up, and he held a steady contact with the other's eyes, his orange pupils seeming to burn with anger. "And, I will show you who is truly the weak fool, in a fair battle-- Not this tomfoolery you dare call a fight. What is it you have against me? Is it merely because I'm weak, or is it something more, warlock?" He asked, glaring at the sword, then up at the warlock, staying still.

  • "I never called this shit a fight. No one cares about you. No one cares if you go out in honor or not. I could kill you right now and nothing in this world will change. What if I am a true guardian and you're all false ones. You don't know shit about that from everything being hidden from you. -blam!-ing fool. I wouldn't feel bad for killing you and neither will your fate. I'm sure I'll kill you in a fair battle. I have better things to do then waste my time on killing fools like you"

"If you feel it is a waste of time to kill me, then why are you wasting your time now, with me?" The awoken asked simply, pushing himself up to stand up once more, though still showing no violence towards the other. "Put the sword down." He asked, placing his hands on his hips. "Besides, kill me here, and I will he revived."

  • *The Swords flames caused even more burning due to the titan trying to get up* "By that I meant in a fair fight. People without common sense don't deserve to die with honor"

Jarah growled in frustration, squirming a bit. "Let me go, warlock! Why are you even causing trouble right now?!" He huffed, ready to stick a fusion gernade on the other guardian. The guardian's ghost, Quince, watched from behind, unsure of what to do, pacing a bit, back and forth. They both exchanged a look, and the ghost quickly disappeared. "Get your sword off me, now." He insisted.

  • Jarah blinked in surprise at being noticed, looking up slowly at the fellow titan, observing him, trying to see though his helmet. It was a futile attempt however, and he gave up, his frame relaxing. "Yes," he lied, leaning against the railing, before letting out another sigh and looking out towards the city once more. "No. I'm not. I recently found out that my father died at the hands of Oryx." He explained simply, his head dipping down.

  • The titan watched the awoken When one life ends another begins Titan. I'm sorry for your loss And I bet he was a brave guarian. He puts a hand on his shoulder But the world now is cruel I've lost people close to me as well Maybe not family but friends who were like it

  • The Awoken nodded simply, bringing his gaze back up to the taller guardian. "I apologize for your losses as well, sir." His mouth felt dry, and unable to speak. He swallowed hard. "I wish to avenge him. But I am a single man, and it would be foolish to face Oryx alone. And because of this, I don't know what to do."

  • The titan Looked at him and took his hand off his shoulder and let his hands fall to his sides. Well I'll help you get to that point I understand the pain and I wouldn't want you to do somthing crazy and loose yourself as well. Pain can drive you to do great things but also things that can ruin you. The titan looks down at his feet, and you'll never do give yourself if you don't get to your point, the titan clenched his fists and looks back up at the awoken.

  • A small hint of a a smile tweaked his lips, and his gaze seemed to brighten up, the slightest bit more hopeful now. "Really? Well, I would be honored to work with you." He took the other's words to heart, locking them in his memory. "You're right. But we can do this." He glanced at the sign up sheet he posted. "However... Even with two of us... We should find a few more to join our cause and defeat Oryx. He truly does sound like quite the foe. Do you know of anyone?" The Awoken asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

  • The titan Looked at him and unclenched his fists, I do not as you can see bi fought for the queen and when she...died I became lost I guess you could put it. So I stayed away for awhile this is the first time I've been back in the tower sence. He grips the mark on his side that is weathered and torn.

  • He nodded in understanding, and observed the marking for a moment. "I see. It's a shame she died. While I am not fond of the Reef, I do hope that the Awoken there can rebuild after their massive losses." Jarah frowned once more. "Well, we can help guide each other, how about that? Then at least we both have someone watching our back." He suggested, holding out his hand to shake on it. "And an introduction probably would be important, too. I'm Jarah Fakhoury. You are?"
