Hello, fellow guardians! I have noticed that my thread has gone down in popularity and has stayed down due to my inactivity. And I would like to say I'm sorry for not being active! Games have come out that I have been very interested in (FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT), so I've resorted to playing those day and night, forgetting about my wonderful thread, and honestly, Destiny altogether.
While taking time off of Destiny, I've realized that it's no good to play due to Bungie's current obsession with PVP (likely due to Activision). I, for one, despise the introduction of PVP to Destiny. This game should not have been made that way. I feel like Activision ruined it for that reason, among many others, but the gaming experience was an overall amazing one.
I got to know some good friends I have online now and I have come to know a completely new style of game altogether. I am not usually playing games in the likes of Destiny, I'm mostly into solid RPG's and horror. But, besides that, Destiny has been a great experience and I love that I got to converse with you all! I'm so glad to see the community is still thriving, and who knows, maybe I'll be back for the second game, but right now it doesn't look too promising with the first still in motion.

4 RepliesWhen you matchmake on the daily vanguard strike and kick ayass. Just a natural 'you get it' team mate without need for mic or discussion, just awareness and intelligence (or common sense)! Flip side, when both the other fireteam members quit at boss you know you're in for a slog. Had this today and got boss down to a quarter health but waves of adds got ridiculous, then..... x and x have joined fireteam! Boom! You beautiful guardians! Smashed remainder of waves and health in no time!

3 RepliesWoo! So I've stumbled across two cloaks so far that are squid puns. I don't know what they represent lorewise or if they have some other meaning. But holy crap they're amazing. I have Squid Pro Quo and the one currently equipped on my hunter. Anyone else get different ones? I'm hoping they all infuse to some super secret badass exotic Squid cloak with awesome perks.

On another note anyone else want to level up Variks so you can buy the ships/shaders? I know I want to collect all the shaders & have some ships that a little rarer then what everyone has.

1 ReplyThanks for this OP. Swimming through the negativity gets old quickly. My positive note is that I played destiny day one. I wasn't that hardcore. Got my titan and warlock to 20, and I fizzled out. I didn't care for the light system of leveling. A year later, my buddy told me about TTK, said he was having a blast with it, and that I should come back to try it out after all the updates. Well I did, and I am very pleased with the changes, I'm loving the developm ents and it's just a super fun game to play again. Looking forward to hitting the new level cap of 40 and experiencing the adventure.

6 RepliesLast year my girlfriend and I found a kitten outside of our house. It was a blue eyed, Siamese kitten. Initially, she ran away...actually more like limped away as fast as she could... and hissed... Swiped...but my girlfriend ended up getting a hold of her. Upon inspection, we noticed she was extremely flea bitten, like you could see a grip of fleas crawling all over her face. We could see that her whiskers were singed and burned off....she was next to a lighter when we found her. We cleaned her up and took her to the vet...where we learned someone took her back leg and literally snapped in half...like you would snap a twig...how could anyone do that? Anyway, because this isn't a normal injury cats have the surgery was extremely expensive...we couldn't afford it at the time. The only other option was amputation...we didn't want to do that, its so unfair to her. To be born, beat up, tortured, and then have your leg cut off? Couldn't accept it, we decided to make a gofundme and spread the story around as much as we could...it took a little time but through the genoristy and good will of random people we were able to afford her surgery and save her leg. Today she is healthy, happy, has two other cats to play with...has raw meat for every meal...a catified home to play in. She's in a good place now and received lots of love although still very traumatized she makes improvements every day. Her name is Daisy, her sisters are Peach and Zelda and she's finally home. =) (Yes, my cats are named after Nintendo princesses.)

6 RepliesI'm loving the Nightstalker!! It may be hard to pull off a nice play in the crucible but when you do...*shivers* It is sooooooo satisfying! Especially with blood bound and predator on!!! I'm also very happy for Titans and Warlocks since their supers are Super cool...see what I did there...no...I-I called the Supers, Super cool...no not working for you okay...I'll just shut up now.

3 RepliesBad Juju!! Now that there's no ghorn taking up the exotic slot, you can actually use it. First thing I spent marks on and was well worth it since my first exotic drop was obsidian mind. Never having to reload and endless super energy. However, I recently got the Zhalo Supercell and it might just be a little better. Similar ammo regen but arc elemental... Lovin' it!

1 ReplyI'm a hunter, and my favorite weapon is ace of spades or stillpiercer. One of my favorite things to do is message people and tell them they played well after a crucible match. I feel like sharing a few kind words can really make the difference in someone's life. I've also gotten some really good friends that I met just cause I messaged them telling them nice game.
