Hello, fellow guardians! I have noticed that my thread has gone down in popularity and has stayed down due to my inactivity. And I would like to say I'm sorry for not being active! Games have come out that I have been very interested in (FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT), so I've resorted to playing those day and night, forgetting about my wonderful thread, and honestly, Destiny altogether.
While taking time off of Destiny, I've realized that it's no good to play due to Bungie's current obsession with PVP (likely due to Activision). I, for one, despise the introduction of PVP to Destiny. This game should not have been made that way. I feel like Activision ruined it for that reason, among many others, but the gaming experience was an overall amazing one.
I got to know some good friends I have online now and I have come to know a completely new style of game altogether. I am not usually playing games in the likes of Destiny, I'm mostly into solid RPG's and horror. But, besides that, Destiny has been a great experience and I love that I got to converse with you all! I'm so glad to see the community is still thriving, and who knows, maybe I'll be back for the second game, but right now it doesn't look too promising with the first still in motion.

So, I got home, loaded up the destiny app, went onto the book of sorrows and I pretty much wrote a shortened down version of it. I got the best result in the class lmao nobody else knew I wrote about the book of sorrows either xD they thought I came up with all that stuff myself lol

1 ReplyRed Death is, has been, and will always be my favorite gun in Destiny. It fits my playstyle so perfectly, and I'm really glad that I saved up for the year 2 version at the start of TTK, as it's useful for almost anything (bar raid bosses because Black Spindle and anything with the exposure modifier). If you don't have it yet, I would strongly recommend you try and get it through using 3 of coins, from nightfalls (if you're lucky enough), or buying the year 2 version if you had it in year 1. I think my favorite moment of when I helped someone was sherpa-ing a group of noobs through the VoG right after TDB released. It was on normal, and it felt amazing to give them the same experience I first had with the Vault. Similarly, I helped a group of my friends who didn't really play much Destiny through VoG, and to add something for myself, I tried to (and succeeded at) soloing the oracles (it was on normal, and I was using corrective measure and praedyth's revenge, but still not an easy feat). My favorite grenade has to be the Incendiary grenade on the Gunslinger and Sunbreaker. It's a grenade that deals awesome AoE damage, so it's great for groups of mobs in PvE, and the burn effect adds a nice touch of good boss damage and lethality to anybody in PvP. But the thing I love the most about it is the information it provides in PvP. The numbers from the burn damage allow you to track enemies, keep someone's shields down, or discourage a push for a revive in more competitive play. It's simply a really versatile grenade, and I love it for that. P.S. If anyone needs help with a raid on Xbox One, I would be more than happy to give my all to help, just pm or send me a message on XBL (gt same as user). King's Fall is a tough beast still, so no guarantees there, but I could easily run a group through VoG, CE, or even PoE 35 if you want.

1 ReplyI love seeing all these new mysteries and secrets that keep appearing with TTK. Keeps things a bit more exciting and frantic, especially with stuff like the Black Spindle and Sleeper Simulant.

I used to love sherpa-ing newbies in vog and crota raids. Now that taken king is out someone helped me out through it my first time (I was extremely grateful and excited to get my first oryx kill) and I know really know how people felt when I helped them though the first two raids. It was a great feeling. Once I've done the new one a few more times I'll be helping people again because what goes around comes around. 3 Repliesmy first crota run was as a 28 and a team of 30+s carried me thru the whole thing and I'm pretty sure I had a negative K/D but I got some good gear. I don't remember who they are but they were good guys. I have since taught people to sword and helped many of my inexperienced friends with raids because it just feels good to do it.

2 RepliesI got Last Extremity from an engram, really happy cuz I've been wanting a decent scout rifle above 280 light, but hadn't had any luck. I'm 10 marks from being able to afford Hung Jury, but don't know whether to go ahead or wait for IB scout rifle, can't recall the name. Any advice would be appreciated. Like one of the guys above me said, a solid performance from myself and the other two people on a successful Strike. No words necessary, everyone pulled their weight and hopefully reaped a reward from it, a job well done.

1 ReplyWent to do some CoO to get my 300 artifact quest done.Random guy turns up and we 2 man about 8 tier 3 runes,engrams everywhere.All in all we did about 30 runes between us,much dancing was done! Ended up getting several 300 artifact drops which pretty much negated the quest.Would love to be able to say his name,as he was not only just a legend...he had a great username :D

7 RepliesHey guys! This Sleeper Simulant It's a Heavy Weapon that's Not Like The Others! Like Gjallarhorn, it Does Not Bow easily and could be The Next Big Thing. The Truth is that this will be one heck of a Havoc Pigeon. It lets you Tread Upon Stars! It sounds like it strikes An Answering Chord when you fire it. Quite The Dealbreaker, this one. Even Eslayuna says it takes a Thorn out of her side. The Ash Factory gives it The Vanity it needs to become the Baron's Ambition.
