Hello, fellow guardians! I have noticed that my thread has gone down in popularity and has stayed down due to my inactivity. And I would like to say I'm sorry for not being active! Games have come out that I have been very interested in (FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT), so I've resorted to playing those day and night, forgetting about my wonderful thread, and honestly, Destiny altogether.
While taking time off of Destiny, I've realized that it's no good to play due to Bungie's current obsession with PVP (likely due to Activision). I, for one, despise the introduction of PVP to Destiny. This game should not have been made that way. I feel like Activision ruined it for that reason, among many others, but the gaming experience was an overall amazing one.
I got to know some good friends I have online now and I have come to know a completely new style of game altogether. I am not usually playing games in the likes of Destiny, I'm mostly into solid RPG's and horror. But, besides that, Destiny has been a great experience and I love that I got to converse with you all! I'm so glad to see the community is still thriving, and who knows, maybe I'll be back for the second game, but right now it doesn't look too promising with the first still in motion.

4 RepliesThis game will occasionally treat me right lol. I, after many hours, wishes, and failed exotic primary decodes, got the monte carlo. Better yet I rolled it at 310. It was amazing, too bad I was all alone so no one knew how ecstatic I was.

1 ReplyI think the moments I love the most is on patrols and any random events happen taken, public event etc and ether I jump into help people or vice versa and then we have a dance and a wave after :D love it

1 ReplyFavorite gun ever was the MIDA. It fit my play style in PVE so well (I don't do PVP). The gun sounds amazing, looks amazing, and keeps the motion tracker up. After I had it fully upgraded, I was finally able to keep up with my friends who all run Warlocks and Hunters! I run Titan with as much armor and recovery as possible. Also, just a general positivity thing. Last night ran the TTK raid for the first time with some friends who were experienced, some who weren't, and some randoms off LFG. Not only is this raid one of the most fun levels in Destiny, the group we ran were amazing, positive, and friendly as well!

1 ReplyI have never really been a gamer beyond the occasional MarioKart race with some friends. One day a couple of months ago, my roommate buys an Xbox One and starts to play Destiny all the time, then finally convinced me to give it a try. I got hooked, and after about a month I was able to justify buying my own console and copy of Destiny, though that is pretty much the only game I play. Then TTK dropped, and I have been thoroughly enjoying all the quests and content that there is to do, but was thinking that I would finish it for one character, then work on my alt characters. Little did I know that there was going to be even more to do as time gated missions open and random missions inside of missions are found. This has been a blast and there seems to always be something to do now besides just run around on patrol for a while (for those like me who enjoy the PvE side of the game more than the PvP side, though I did enjoy just running around on patrol, picking up patrol missions, and seeing how many times I could pull an awesome recovery landing after rolling/crashing my sparrow). For weapons, my go to weapon is the Dead Orbit Hung Jury scout rifle, and I quite like it. Also, in PvE stuff, the exotic swords are just so much fun! I wouldn't mind seeing a Y2 MIDA Multi-tool, however, as that dropped for me like a week before TTK came out, and I was really starting to enjoy that scout rifle.
