[b] He raises his eyebrows.[/b] "You said you used to be talkative. What happened to change that? Because I think I'd like a talkative you."

[b] He bites his bottom lip.[/b] "how'd that happen?"

"Id rather not talk about it"

"Sounds like someone I know." [b] He says with a sad look in his eyes, as the waiter brings their food and they start to eat.[/b] "Okay, how about, what makes you the happiest in this world? Random question I know, but it isn't as dark."

"Hmm.... not many things"

[b] He frowns.[/b] "Something must make you happy. I must know, how else am I going to get that permanent expression off your face?"

"Well there is one thing that makes me happy"

[b] He smiles.[/b] "and what's that?"

"Take a guess"

"Tall guys with black hair and green eyes?" [b] He grins as he describes himself.[/b]

"Maybe" [b]she smiles[/b]

[b] He grins.[/b] "I've smiled more tonight than I have in a month Kat."

"Good to hear"

"So, do you have a job in Cedyetica? Or do you just kinda wander?"

"Of you consider being a thief a job then yes"

[b] He chuckles.[/b] "anything that helps you survive." [b] He finishes his Yakatori, and checks something on his Tac-Pad.[/b]

[b]she finishes eating[/b]

[b] They stand up and Lance pays for all of the dinner, and knocking over the cup off the table.[/b] "oops." [b] He bends down to pick it up and his shirt comes up over his midriff, revealing burn scars all over his lower back, seemingly reaching farther.[/b]

[b]she looks at the scars[/b]

[b] Lance straightens before putting the cup back on the table, and walking out of the restaurant, holding the door for Kat. He returns to his bike and gets on it.[/b]

[b]she gets on the bike and puts her helmet on[/b]

[b] He burns out on the pavement, driving quickly and recklessly through the city, cutting corners and dodging traffic, basically trying to show off. They get to her place and he gets off the bike, walking her up the stairs.[/b] "I had a good time tonight Kat. I know it wasnt much, but I had fun."

"It was fun" [b]she pulls you closer[/b] "Remember how I told you there's one thing that makes me happy?" [b]she grins[/b]

[b] he smiles.[/b] "yeah?"
