He produces a new mote, and taps her shoulder with it. It fades to the point where you can tell it's turning black. "I'm partially taken, remember?" He grins. "Those motes only conceal fully until 1/4."

"Yeah. They work strongly. Using more than 1 has no effect other than wasting thrm. Just use 1 at a time, and replace it at 1/4. That gets the most usage per mote, while ensuring someone like me or Eris can't detect you."
