I got it last night... it's so -blam!-ing useless. I cant justify ever using it over the black spindle.
People say it melts mobs but you can kill that same mob with your primary in the same time it takes to shoot with the telesto and wait for the mobs to explode...
Plus it's a damn fusion rifle..... snipers >>>>>>>> fusion rifles.
Plus it's so worthless in pvp.. UGH why couldn't i get the hereafter instead.

Sorry you feel that way. I find Fusion rifles to---once again, thanks to Update 2.0----be a highly effective weapon. Especially in the new PvE environment for strikes/stories/CoO where Bungie is always trying to force you to fight in a BOX so you can't stand off and snipe like you did last year. The fusion rifles----especially Telesto----are great for stripping shields off of Tier 2 enemies, and reaching out and hitting powerful enemies at mid-range before they can close to short range where they have the advantage. The Telesto itself can almost reach long range because its cone of fire is so narrow.

.....but it's not a sniper.. and it sucks in pvp :/ and anything you can do to mobs with it you can do with a decent primary.

Can be done. But not as fast and not as safely. In many ways Telesto is a combination of Thorn and Fatebringer.

Primaries can't generate orbs like the Telesto does. Multi kills are pretty easy to pull off with it, more orbs = more supers.

I never once stated that I was good. Grimoire doesn't mean anything to me, I have a life. Skolas was as rewarding as reading your reply, so it was pointless to even attempt.
