"Well you made my job a lot easier now haven't you?" Says a soft and quant voice. A voidwalker stands behind the warlock. Both of same order, both guardians; though from how things were escalating, only one would leave with their light.
"Someone with some sense" KC continued with his bad juju raised at the other warlock's head. "I don't blame you for what you are doing. You are attempting to protect them. It won't work. Those ai were at their best all those centuries ago. AND YOU FATHOM A REDO MAY CHANGE ANYTHING?!?!" Kc was certainly perturbed. He was searching for an ancient ai. Delta. It was the one which fwc once utilized to see the future. What lead him here? Was it really attempting to save the city? His own ambition? Or that d##### skull.
"Transfer all those files to my ghost. Specifically those that speak of an entity known as 'delta'. Then shut down the systems. You and the city will have to learn. Nature will always rule, and no wall will alter this. Only we can. Well you heard me. Are you going to comply? Or will I have to soil my hands once more?"
*bad juju growls*

The warlock pauses. You see now he looks faded and blurry at the edges. His rusty, wired helmet turns towards you. "Listen, young warlock. This whole system is corrupted with darkness. We will never be able to defeat them: a single city against planets?" He laughs, a mechanical series of pitches. "The vanguard are fools. The speaker is blinded. The traveler is dead. The guardians are puppets." He extends a hand. "I offer a new world." You can feel him looking directly at you. "I offer hope."

Edited by TrolleyProblem: 10/4/2015 10:54:07 PM"Ooh, it's been a while since I've seen such a simplistic parlor trick as the phase. I thought ikora would've discontinued teaching it, ahh well. But if you want to see something a bit more tantalizing, BEHOLD" at the snap of his fingers, kc altered reality and turned the control room into a astral projection of the void. Revealing the warlock. "Try not to be so presumptuous. I've been here most likely as long as you have." Kc said smugly. Even with that skull masking his face, his glare burned through. Hate resonating from his eyes. But for what? "You offer hope do you? Spoken like a child. We sealed our fate when we killed atheon, crota, skolas, and all their plebeians. There is no such thing as hope. We only fight and fight, die and die... Sometimes we don't come back" he uttered those last words with much weight. "There was once 8 major ai, and all the hundreds of subordinate ones as well. Now we only have one, and it hasn't really been on the best terms with us now hasn't it? I'm not afraid to kill you, you know? I'm sure you're not afraid to do the same. But think. You have committed quite the treasonous act against the vanguard. And I can attest they don't kindly to rouges. If you kill me you'd only make things worse. But I'm not unreasonable like that charlatan." He lowered his hand, and reality slowly reverted to it's residual state. "Give my ghost all files Rasputin holds on an entity known as 'delta'. Then shut down the defense grid. Afterwards, we can speak of our goals at my hide out. Though of course if you refuse you have two options. We fight, or..." Suddenly vanguard sirens begin to whale. "They can arrest us both. Maybe even exile, or execution. Your choice" kc aims bad juju with one arm, and with others holds out an arm to shake. "Tic toc"
sorry it took too long to respond
Edited by Sparrowhawk: 10/5/2015 3:34:18 PM"Who the hell are you?" The warlock's voice is amused, seemingly unperturbed by the sirens going off. "I have little time to deal with children's games of power, and I have no interest with the vanguard." He shoves his middle finger violently into the air towards you, a comic gesture compared to the event that follows. "Move." The air around you vibrates and takes on a purple haze, before exploding violently and stripping your shields. When your eyes refocus, you see the barrel of a handcannon blocking most of your view.
no worries
The voidwalker laughs hysterically. Then... He begins to fade from the universe. soon a unfamiliar roaring voice erupts inside your mind. "YOU HAVE AMUSED MY BEARER, TAKE THESE GAUNTLETS AND MANTLE THEM WELL. THEN HEAD TOWARD THE BREACH. FOR THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO, OH LISTENER MINE we are expecting you" The voices ended. You turn around to see the monitors and control stations are now decimated. And there are no signs of Rasputin. Though there is no time to contemplate how. A vanguard representative dashes in. "HOLD YOUR HANDS UP WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" do you comply, or defeat him, and do as the voice entailed.
how do you the cosmic middle finger?!
Edited by Sparrowhawk: 10/10/2015 8:15:00 PMThe warlock is frozen, shocked at the sudden disappearence of his opponent, so unlike anything he had seen on his travels. It is a few moments before he notices the vanguard representative, at which point he smiles behind his dead mask. His plan to utilize Rasputin's orbital weapons had been wrecked, no matter if he could fix the computers as he had depended on surprise. However, he was still intent on his final goal, regardless of the methods. The voice that had spoken to him had resonated with incredible power... power that he could use. Decision made, the warlock calmly blinks behind the vanguard representative and immediately puts three shots through his skull. "Ghost, find the exact coordinates that voice spoke to us from. And transport me to orbit when you're done." He takes a last look at the spot where the other warlock had disappeared. "We're going to the Breach."
making a violent gesture helps release your void energies. I made it up :)

feel free to copy it if you want.
Edited by TrolleyProblem: 10/10/2015 10:07:03 PMHours pass. The voidwalker that disappeared inside that control room now meditates in the center of the breach. He drifts between current reality, what was once reality, and what it shall soon be contorted to; IF he does not alter what is to come. "Play back the feed" he orders toward his ghost. Soon on the ground, the ghost projects the contingency which took place in that room. So... Sudden, without hesitation, without remorse... "He's intriguing, wouldn't you say?" The voidwalker continues. "He's dangerous" the ghost cuts in. "No, no... He's just sporadic is all. Blinded by what ever his ambition attempts to lead him towards. Not dangerous; just potential without meaning.." The voidwalker attempted to explain to his ghost. Though he could tell from the blank expression in it's calculating eye. "I can only sense déjà vu from what you described, I mean-" Soon, the ghost is cut off by a rapturous voice "QUIET. HE HAS ARRIVED, OH BEARER MINE," "Good" the voidwalker stands toward the warlock's direction. "It was nice to see you had the audacity to commit those transgressions. But it's even better you came here... I assume you've have armored yourself with our 'gift'? "

Edited by Sparrowhawk: 10/11/2015 5:22:31 PMThe warlock laughs. "I was sure I had proven my intelligence before. Did you really think I was going to put these... things... on without knowing what the hell they are?" His ghost materializes the gauntlets into his hand. The warlock examines them for a second. "There are very few things I haven't seen before... I am very curious to know what these are." He laughs again. "Still, I've seen gear do strange things to people. Like that vex armour that fused to the wearers, and hive weapons that whisper dark secrets..." He stops. "Anyway, I'm not interested in games, as I'm sure I said before. Who the hell are you? What are these?" He shakes the gauntlets. "And I know you're hiding something. What's that consciousness behind yours? What voice spoke to me before?" He holds up his hand and clenches it into a fist, glowing with purple energy. "Don't make me force it out of you."
