I found it interesting that Oryx destoyed the Ecumeme. In a way its like Bungie destroyed its roots in Halo, since the "Ecumeme" was the colonized realm of the Forerunners in the Halo franchise. Flood vs Forerunner. Hive vs Ecumeme. Infinitely numerous enemy vs advanced interstellar empire. A war taking thousands of years to end.
Anybody picking this up?
