"Right. It's an ultimatum. Either you fight for him and gain the ability to counter your greatest fear, or you remain trapped in another dimension for the rest of eternity. That's the thing with Taken. You want to know another fun fact about them? Wherever they go, there's an eerie mist. You see, that mist is denser when there are more of them. And this mist is almost liquid." He reached up and touched the mist. "That means there are a lot of your buddies. But-" He spun around, arms outstretched. "There are no blights. So where's the mist coming from? Answer:" He pointed at the beam. "Is there. Now I wonder what would happen if that beam there were tampered with. What if a small, metal object interfered." He pointed his gun at the beam. "Like this bullet." He fired a shot at the beam, and a bright flash blinded him for a second. When he could see again, there was a translucent, yet solid floor covering the gaping hole. Upon it stood hundreds of Taken, twitching unnaturally. "Did not see that coming."

*Meanwhile* Garuud receives a bounty from the Vanguard. Find the whereabouts of the Hunter La'haar. Glimmer and a Heavy weapon engram to be provided on safe return. Garuud put down the bounty notice. "Hmm sounds like fun" He pilots his ship to the dreadnaught at light speed.
