Korvic ran through the dark halls of the Dreadnaught; A great, shadowy figure of an Echo of Oryx behind him.
It started out as a simple scouting run. Just get in, report anything strange, get out. He'd done it hundreds of times before. But this time there was a 15 foot shadowy death monster...
Korvic was keeping ahead of the Echo, avoiding the blasts of darkness. Then the air around him started to crackle and burn. Then he felt something attach to his back.
"Oh son of a-"
Then everything went dark, and he heard a voice.
[b][i]You are Korvic Lanister. Great hunter of the frontier. You wield a blade as if it were an extension of your own arm.
You have been taken.
Calm yourself. Put down your gun, sheathe your blade, sling your bow. No scout can traverse this endless realm.
What ends motivate you? What drives you to such loyalty?
You see yourself as a protector. You are the keeper of the pack. You deal judgment upon those who harm or threaten those close to you. But, that loyalty is also your greatest weakness.
Let go of your ties, use them to your advantage.
There is a knife for you. It is shaped like [subterfuge].
Take it up. Feel it's weight. Take your new shape.

Korvic.... Or... Whatever was left of him anyway... Stood up, and mused over his new face.

"Hello sir you look strange" *A warlock in year one trials armor and he had voidfang vestements. He was holding a hand cannon but, he had a sniper and a sword on his back. You stop looking at his details when he aims his cannon at your head*

He looked over at the warlock. [b][i]"If you're going to shoot me, go ahead and do it. You'd be doing me a favor."[/i][/b]

*He laughs* "Really not many people want to die so is there anything you want to say?"

*The warlock fires a few bullets killing the taken guardian for sure* "That's a bit boring. Hey I'm sure killing Oryx won't be" *The Warlock walks away*

The decoy faded away, and the invisible hunter watched as the warlock walked off. [b][i]"Stupid self preservation reflex...."[/i][/b]

*The warlock hears the hunter* "Ghost scan the area" [i]Hunter Located... 3 O'Clock[/i] "Liars shall pay hunter" *The Warlock grabbed his sniper and fired at the hunter. A bullet hit the hunters right shoulder and another on the hunters left knee*

[b]Warren watched as the supposed Taken Guardian was killed.[/b] -He turns off his stealth camo. - "Didja have to kill him so soon? Think about what we could've learned from him about the Taken!" [b]Warren shakes his head as he looks at the dead Taken, before seeing a sort of shimmering around it. He backs up.[/b]

"You don't have any business here. So I'll enjoy it if you left" *From the way the Warlock spoke you could tell he's Awoken*

[b]Warren looks at you, curious.[/b] "You're both an Awoken AND a Warlock, of which I am too, yet you don't hold an interest in our enemies power? Why?" [b]As he speaks, Warren examines the decoy.[/b]

"Enemies... you see differently. Different dreams... different nightmares... different enemies" *He aims his hand cannon at Warren's head*

Warren quickly jumped away before the Echo appeared between them and slammed his hand down at where he was. He pulled out Hawkmoon and fired a few rounds before boosting away.[/b]

*The Warlock blinked away and fired a Nova Bomb at the Echo. He then used his Raze Lighter to finish it off* "Easy"

[b]Warren nods but remains vigilant, in case of a trick by Oryx.[/b] "Alright, since you don't seem to like learning, what brings you here?"

His chance to study the effects of being Taken on a guardian. He saw his only chance to get that power, and prove his studies as 'helpful'[/b]
