Caleb gratefully went with Ajax, and soon they had returned back to Zavala. Caleb handed the relic across the table to Zavala. "Got it, but couldn't have donemuch without yhis guy." Caleb jerked his head towards Ajax.

"Hey, don't give me all the credit," says Ax. "I would've been toast if it weren't for Caleb. "I have an idea, Titans." says Zavala. "You two could be partners." "Sounds good to me," replies Ax.
-
Caleb grinned underneath his helmet. "I don't know if I can put up with him that long, sir." Zavala let out a heartt chuckle.
-
"So... Is that a something?"
-
Caleb looked at Ajax and laughed. "Of course it is. As Shaxx would put it, you can fight on my side anytime!"
-
"Yeah! Les do dis!" Dew runs up to Caleb and sits at his feet, wagging his tail happily. "That makes three of us. So what now, Zavala? Any new jobs for the vanguard?"

Edited by Estinien | Sora | Ahsoka: 10/1/2015 3:59:58 AMZavala stared both Ajax and Caleb down. "We've had a situation on one of Jupiter's Ice cities. Fallen, lots of them. Not sure if you're up to the task, but it's something the Vanguard needs done."
-
Ax humbly replies "We'll do what we can." He turns to Caleb. "We better pack our coats, huh?"
-
Edited by Estinien | Sora | Ahsoka: 10/7/2015 2:24:55 AMCaleb nodded and grimaced. "I never did much care for the cold. There's jackets in my ship." Wanna head off now?"
-
"Let's go. I've never been a "Hang at the Tower" kinda guy." Dew gets up and wags his tail. "Ghost, let's go."
-
In a short while, the duo had landed on Jupiter. The freezing cold pierced Caleb's armor, and he felt chilled to the bone. Teeth chattering, he turned towards Ajax. "W-w-which way?"
-
Ax pulls out his ghost, and points toward a large cave that turned out to be a downed ketch. "I'll lead," Ax affirms before heading down.
-
Caleb nodded, and trudged through the icy winds into the cave, following the light of Ajax's ghost. Out of the corner of his eye, Caleb spotted a Fallen Captain cowering in the corner of the cave. Caleb froze, and immediately aimed his Suros Regime. The Captain made no hostile moves though, in fact, it seemed scared of something.
-
"Why isn't it killing us?" Ax asked. His question was answered by a large mouth swallowing the captain whole. "Uhhh, new plan. Run." He runs and is nearly there when Dew gets caught by an arm of the weird hive-looking thing. "NOOO! I gotcha Dew!" Ax rushes back in the cave.
-
Caleb hesitated, then ran after him. He hadn't known Ax for very long, but something prompted him to help him out. Caleb pushed down into the cave with Ax, weaving past Fallen that weren't fighting. Fleeing. Fleeing from what? Caleb continued to follow Ax until they reached a large, open room.
-
Dew was hurt, but would live thankfully. "That thing... It had a huge mouth and hands and... What was it?" Water starts to fill the room. "Well that's perfect."
-
Caleb looked around for a possible way out. There didn't seem to be any. Caleb searched in desperation. Allcof a sudden, a large laugh echoed through the room. "Puny guardians of light!" The voice boomed. "What chance do you stand against me?"
-
"Every chance there is." Ax whipped out his rocket launcher and blasted the top of the ceiling, creating a hole which they all got out of. The creature burst out of a nearby glacier. "Shall we?" He asked, turning to Caleb.
-
Caleb nodded, completely glad to have Ax by his side. He pulled out his Suros, and started blazing magazines into the creature. He would continue to counter the creature's attacks and put up his Ward of Dawn whenever he could to help aid Ax.
-
Ax ran straight for it, but was shoved back by a sound wave. Undeterred, he picked up a Knight's sword and threw a flash bang at its head. After stabbing it in the back a couple times, the creature collapsed. Unfortunately, it landed on Ax's custom Suros launcher. "Blammit, I just paid that off." He looked at his newfound sword, reforming itself to bind to his light. "But... This will do."
-
Caleb was gasping for breath. He had fought hard. Caleb couldn't help but glance over at Ax, and see the new blade in his hand. His eyes seemed different, almost hungry, staring at the blade
-
The blade took on its new form: a rectangular, single edged, serrated blade that glowed with an energy unknown to any. It had an inscription now: "Born out of Darkness, raised in Light." "I have seen the three exotic blades: dark drinker, bolt caster and raze lighter, but this is... Different." Caleb felt a sudden rush of cold throughout his armor. Just in time, they get on their sparrows and fly to a nearby village.
-
"Man, I'm hungry," Ax said as he got off his sparrow. He glanced at the local restaurant. "Whaddaya say? Grab a bite?"
