Ehhh to be clear I don't disagree with you but it's not like the church wasn't apart of the government and lead crusades burning and pillaging many scientific findings, scientists, mathematicians and many other things that pertained to science "worship" which was thought to be an act against god due to ignorance and misunderstanding that science is god, it's what the embedded intrinsic codes of this universe consists of. The very essence of god, and this fact is widely misunderstood- Einstein believed in a god(not the personified version most believe in) but of a source or energy that constitutes everything... An almighty law- hence the almighty governor of an almighty law( is how it seems to be interpreted of religions, which aren't the sole or proven paths to god either btw)
