Who do you think Nokris is? His or her name wasn't mentioned in the books of sorrow nor any other grimoire I've read. Just want to hear your thoughts.

I believe he is Crota's brother, Oryx's younger son

I think we would've heard about that. Crota has two sisters, the death singers. Oryx has two sisters, Savathûn and Xivu Arath. I believe Nokris might have something to do with the deep, the darkness. Nokris reminds me of night.

The interesting point is that within the Books of Sorrow, Savathun appears between lines and says "These Books are full of lies!" So we may not know the entire reality of the situation surrounding Oryx, including his having another son.

When Oryx threw Crota into the Vex gate system, he told him to be victorious or die forgotten. Perhaps this is what happened to Nokris: he failed, and was erased from record, except for a single statue in the Dreadnaught
