[b][i]"GRAH HA HA!"[/i][/b] He Blinks through space, and appears right in front of you, smacking aside the gun with one arm, and using his other three to drive the Shrapnel Launcher into her gut, pulling the trigger.

She doubled over, before her body shook with a low laughter. Her hand gripped the shrapnel launcher, melting the through it. Sure the impact hurt like a bitch, but she learned a thing or two from the pit. Especially how to manipulate her light In different ways. "Too close."She mocked him, the flames licking and reaching out towards him.

He rips the Shrapnel Launcher away, swinging it hard at her skull.

She brought up her arm, blocking his assault and whipped out her fatebringer, the weapon overcoming with flames. The barrel of the gun was pressed into the bottom of his chin. "This seems familiar..."She said with a laugh.

"That would be too good for you."She said lightly before kicking him in his midsection, flames licking at his armor. "As much as I want to kill you, no, I'd rather watch you suffer more."She backed away, the solar energy dissipating from around her. It had taken much more light to extend it's duration, the huntress out of breath. [i]no, she needed to find that ship[/i]

[b][i]"Your Light already wanes? Pathetic."[/i][/b] He dashes for Artemis, a spike on his shoulder stabbing her midsection as he rams her Light-drained body into the wall. [b][i]"I was looking forward to a fight."[/i][/b]

She coughed up blood which splattered against her visor, blinding her vision. The woman ripped it off, throwing it to the side and steadied her breathing. "The thing is."She grunted out, using monstrous strength to push him away and spitting a mouthful of blood onto the ground "I don't need light to fight." She discarded her cloak, wanting nothing to slow her down and charged at him with blinding speed. Training with a legendary hunter had helped her tremendously, increasing not only natural speed but power and strength as well.

She gritted her teeth, adrenaline and rage numbing the pain. The woman blinked behind him, sending an elbow into his kidneys, pivoting on her heel and catching his stomach with her leg, reeling him backwards. Blood poured from his first assault, but she stood there, a chuckle escaping from her blood stained lips. "The Vault is draining me of my light each day and trust me, even the darkness does not accept me."She said darkly.

[b][i]"I am Darkness. I decide wether or not one is worthy."[/i][/b] He approaches Artemis, brushing aside a strand of hair. [b][i]"The Light is but filling noise. A distraction in a world which begs for quiet."[/i][/b] He runs a hand down her cheek, wiping away a trickle of blood. [b][i]"No more pain... No more sorrow... No more need to put on a front. Let the noise fade... And let it all be silent."[/i][/b]

She closed her eyes, burying herself in the thoughts. No more pain. No more suffering of the deafening light that bubbled inside and suffocated her... No, she wouldn't become like Dredgen. Her eyes snapped open as she broke from her revere. She pushed his hand away and swayed unsteadily, from blood loss or the trance of his words, she didn't know "Empty words.."She said, taking a step back, steeling herself. He was [i][b]no[/b][/i] darkness. She saw the depths and the heart of it all, witnessed the raw power of darkness. He was nothing She told herself that.

He sighs, almost sadly. [b][i]"You are a fool, Artemis."[/i][/b] He raises an arm towards her, Darkness swirling around his hand. Within seconds, she falls to the ground, unconscious. [b][i]"It would have been an honor to fight by your side."[/i][/b] He turns, walking off towards the balcony. Seemingly about to walk off the edge, his body atomizes, disintegrating into a hue of green particles and black shadows. [spoiler]Your ghost can send an SOS beacon now.[/spoiler]

Her ghost materializes from her armor and hovered above her, it's rusted body flitting nervously. He wouldn't be able to teleported her, not like last time, there was not enough light. So he did the only thing he could do, rays leaving it's body, stitching back together torn tissue. She was a mess to say the least; shrapnel pellets trapped in her skin, a puncture wound, three broken ribs-one of which pierced her lung. How she still stood against the fallen was beyond him. The Beacon he had sent out was answered within 20 minutes, a few vanguard members stepping from the ship. Perks of being the vanguards number one hunter. She only dreamt of his words which echoed loudly in her head, the darkness welcoming her in its emrace.
