Read the first paragraph and stopped.
People didn't figure out jack shit.
People cried for months.
Bladedancers got fking nerfed.
Sunbreakers need a fking nerf.
Edit: 25% health reduction the Bladedancers got is no small nerf, that's HUGE in a game of milliseconds. No one can justify Sunbreakers having more health than Bladedancers. Just stop. No wait nvm... try me. I want to hear this.
Edit: for those coming at me with "Titans are tanks and they should have more health blah" shit, you're playing the wrong game. This game was clearly not made for the intent of rolls such as Tank, DPS, Healer etc. If you've played any real game where these rolls actually exist, I wouldn't have to tell you this.

Well the whole tank shit was why we couldn't have blink, people can't pick and choose
-
And you bitch boys got that nerfed too Now we need a whole exotic just to have a good movement ability

Edited by Fenderslasher: 9/29/2015 8:42:19 PMThe sunbreaker only has a decent super, nothing else. And as decent as it is, the nightstalker class scores more kills than the sunbreaker and stormcaller classes combined per super on average. Nightstalker also scored more grenade and melee kills then the latter two combined. Check your statistics at destinytracker. If logic and cold hard fact were to argue who needs a nerf as opposed to your limited views and anecdotes we would see ALL the Hunter classes getting nerfed; they score almost 2-3 times as many kills per super compared to any other class; similarly only hunters and warlocks have bolt grenades and those kill more than 3 times any grenade the Titan has including lightning grenade. It goes without saying that the warlock flame shield and Hunter blink strike score almost 3 times as many kills compared to any Titan melee. SERIOUSLY, check your -blam!-ing facts.
-
They never got a health reduction, high impact shotguns were introduced and it made killing a bladedancer a whole lot easier
-
When did Bladedancer get a 25% health reduction?
-
Bladedancers do get a sizable damage reduction when they are blade dancing.
-
I know that... OP is claiming that this damage reduction got nerfed by 25% at some point, when no such nerf has ever actually happened.
-
Ninja nerf.
-
First I've ever heard of a Bladedancer ninja nerf. Pretty much tells me that this nerf never actually happened, more like people finally figured out that Bladedancer is incredibly easy to shut down by just shotgunning them.
-
No. It actually did happen.
-
Sorry misread that

Titans- HIGHEST ARMOR in the game Build- High armor Gear-Chest that gives increased armor to solar sub-class (Check my titan) So lets say that a titan and a bladedancer get 25%+ armor for using their super (FOR EXAMPLE) Titan High Armor + Max Armor perk set = 230 Add on gear that boosts armor for that subclass = 240 Bladedancer lowest armor + Max armor perk set = 205 Add on gear that boosts armor for that subclass=215 240+25%=300 = Sunbreaker can tank a rocket at this point 215++25%=269 = Bladedancer can NOT tank a rocket at this point Bladedancers also hardly ever choose to go max armor either because "hungering blade" relies on recovery. The more recovery the best hungering blade works, and they are going to focus on mobility so they can get in close. meaning that they aren't even hitting that max armor number. So the Sunbreaker isn't getting an unfair advantage, they have the same damage reduction as a bladedancer. Its just that since Titan's are naturally stronger its more apparent. /discussion

Sunbreaker v blade dancer they both kill eachother in two hits guaranteed. Even if either hits first, the timing is so similar they will kill eachother in almost every case.
-
It's nice to see titans actually be the role they were meant to be. A walking tank. For a year titans have been dicked around. But now restoration has come. Titans are tanks and that's finally come to fruition.

Omfg for the 999999999999th time TITANS ARE MOTHER -blam!-ING WARRIORS GET IT RIGHT THEY AINT MEANT TO BE SOME TANK.. spread this please I am angered by the amount of posts needed

For a year, not years. Just saying lol

I'll quote this so others can laugh at it.

Lol I'm pretty sure more people are laughing at you than his comment
-
You say this because you do not have a counter to it.
-
Titans should tank more damage than hunters and Warlocks.......its stupid to assume a class based on agility will take more damage than a class based on armor lol
-
Edited by SoloXYZ: 9/29/2015 7:11:24 PMIf that's the way it should be then you shouldn't be able to dish out nearly as much damage as you do. If you can tank sniper and GG shots to the face then you should have a limit on hammer throws with reduced blast radius. Tank is defensive, not huge damage dealers. Bladedancers are fast, but can be taken down easily if you see them coming and you have to be in the enemies face to kill them. There is no trade off with Sunbreakers. You don't need to be fast, you have range. And you can get closer than a Bladedancer if you want to because if all the HP you have.
-
One GG kills a sunbreaker btw
-
The fact is 9 times outta 10 when I get kills its because people RUN right at me. I mean why would you run at someone in there super? Titans Sunbreaker class has perks mainly focused on buffing the super. Whereas most other classes have perks aimed towards non super confrontation. Without the super charged they go down just as easy as every other class and very little perks to give advantage outside of the super.
-
That's partially the problem and a contributing factor to why it's so unbalanced in PvP. 90% of kills come from your guns. Your perk preferences have little to do with how well someone does in a match. Supers on the other hand have huge potential in getting significant amount of kills. Sunbreaker does it the best by far.
-
Perk preference does play a part lol. Cauterize, Forgemaster and Tracking Hammers all add to the super. Also the fact that you can spec into more armor as well. Golden Gun has perks to add to it as well like range, accuracy and others, but the difference is gunslinger has perks to benefit the player outside the super like adding reload speed and stability. Sunbreaker perks are ALL focused on HoS so indeed when they finally get their super it is extraordinarily strong. Most people fail to see these facts because they are too focused on the fact that "Omg hammer op nerf bungie nerf." Yea well that's all the Sunbreaker perks do is buff the super. The only thing they get to help outta super is grenade and melee recharge.....I'd trade that for stability and reload speed among other things in a heartbeat. Let's also point out the fact that Titans have a subclass that does absolutely NO dmg in super so to take away from them the only other damage subclass is not only wrong but unbalanced. Hunters new sub class is classified as support but still does damage. Warlock sunsingers are technically support but have the potential for lots of damage as well being able to spam grenades. Titans Defender which is our support does no damage and helps team survive. Barely 2 weeks after the Sunbreaker comes out everyone already wants nerf, and who does this come from? PvP players. People fail to realize the unison between the new sub classes in Pve. Having a hunter shadowshot a group of mobs and a titan hurling hammers can produce alot of orbs for the team and the titan must depend on their armor and health to be able to take damage to clear out the mobs for the team. What about the players who don't play crucible? They suffer because people in pvp complain? People are so quick to speak of balance and unfairness. So tell me how its balanced and fair for those players who solely enjoy the pve standpoints of the game who have to be subject to the complaints of the community of the game who plays it for pvp purposes?
