Tbh... We know the vex were organic first. And then something or someone created their bodies for them. I personally believe the traveller made them to help her terraform planets and systems. The darkness then corrupted them. But that's only my opinion. Cuz the problem is I also believe that the traveller is a time traveling, betrayer. But not so sure about that anymore.
