I need it repaired immediately!"[/b] The third day in a row the Tower has been interupted by a loud "discussion" Between Atticus and Banshee. Every guardian passing through has heard the story over and over again, the volume varying by time of day. "I'm sorry Guardian, the Tungsten-Plasteel alloy the links are made from is in too short a supply to waste on such an archaic system of self-defense. Might I suggest a more typical armored coat until supplies become available for more frivolous uses?" [b]"Archaic!?"[/b] Sparks crackle from his fist as Atticus slams it onto the desk, his temper worn dangerously thin.[b] "By the same standards the armor those Punch-buckets use is archaic! The guns we use haven't changed for hundreds of years! Fix. My. Chainmail."[/b] "I do not understand your preoccupation with such an object of vanity. Many adequate replacements exist for this piece." [b]"It's a symbol. A light in the dark, Banshee. Why does Suros emblazon their logo on every gun they've ever produced? Why is Curx/Lomar so concerned with producing weaponized works of art?"[/b] "Well I would assume..." [b]"That was rhetorical. Why can it not be patched with pure plasteel? Titan armor seems to work just fine."[/b] "Their armor consists of solid and thick plates. Chain links are thinner. They must be made of harder alloys to provide the same strength." [b]"What would happen if you patched it with pure plasteel anyway?"[/b] "An ogre aboard the dreadnaught would rip your arm off instead of just severely wounding you and your armor" [b]"If I brought you the alloy you need, would you repair it?"[/b] "It would be an immense waste of such a valuable resource. However I would do as you request." [b]"I'm going to miss these fights Banshee!" [/b]Atticus shouts as spins and sprints across the Watch toward the hangar. "You'll be back..." Banshee-44 murmurs.
