I don't need them to discover life to know it's out there. The arrogance of scientists to say there's no life on other planets because they haven't discovered it yet is hilarious to me. We haven't even discovered all the life in our own friggin ocean...
Just to be clear, I believe life exists elsewhere in the universe, I just don't think they've ever visited earth.

Scientists do not deny the existence of life elsewhere in the universe. Statistically it's nearly impossible for life to not exist elsewhere. Scientists just don't confirm the existence of life elsewhere without evidence. That's how science works.

Said no scientist ever (or at least in the last 50 years). Don't know what "scientists" you're listening to, but every one I know of has said pretty much the opposite of what you claim "they" say.

Reality is, we don't know it exists elsewhere, and never will know until we observe it. If we don't see life, that doesn't prove it isn't there, if we do see life, that proves it is there. At this point, I think it is premature to be confident one way or the other.

Life on other planets is almost entirely probable, but discovering it means we can study it and maybe learn something about ourselves in the process. It's very exciting.

Scientists don't deny it the existence of life in our universe. They want to prove it and show evidence of existence before jumping to conclusions like religion.

I too believe. Dunno if they've been here yet, but if they are intelligent enough to travel the stars then I'd assume they'd be smart enough to stay away from our crazy asses.
