We have seen the Fallen fight the Vex. We have seen the Cabal fight the Vex. But never have we seen the Hive fight the Vex. We know however that the Crota allowed the Vex to enter their dimension, and that they waged war against one another for a long time. We know that the Vex seem to want to be a force of the universe, from what I believe they want to be a literal law of physics. Oryx seems to also want to be a force of the Universe. So I would like to ask what you think. Why aren't the Hive and the Vex fighting? Personally I think it's because they literally have no reason to, they fought for centuries, that's enough to time to learn the others secrets. Oryx even admits that he had difficulty gaining control of that war. I wonder who the greatest threat really is.

The Hive could not defeat the Vex, so by their own logic, the Vex are worthy of existing

the vex eventually lost to oryx after oryx took that first axis mind that came from crota so i dont think they will be fighting for a while

Theoretically though... Can the Vex or Hive really lose? Without cleaving the head of either they have endless amounts of forces. With the Hives existence after death and the Vex being able to bend time itself, can either truly be victorious without the other being simply written out of existence?

well yes and no becaus they can either give up or be wiped from existence

But neither is said to have happened, merely that Oryx claimed himself victor. Therefore, could it not be entirely possible the Vex decided to strike when he least expects it? Or more likely, use other beings such as guardians to expel Oryx from their path?

the vex leader during the vex hive war eas taken by oryx and therefore defeated the remaing vex are guessed to have scattered acros the system to establish themsekves as a force to be reckoned with as in its dying moments the vex mind taken by oryx stopped defending itself and sent telementary to the vex across the system and then it started to ask oryx what it was and built a final similation to inform the vex as to what power oryx was

Exactly, it wasn't a loss, it was a ploy to see what they were dealing with. The scattering is temporary, the Vex can transport just about anywhere they have established themselves at any time a trillion strong. Being that they're one mind, it was as if you sacrificed your pinky to see if a pencil sharpener is dangerous. You know it will hurt you, but to what extent?

but we stilla have the rest of the calcified fragments to find and read plus we have killed oryx and now all themat remains are his siblings who werent as strong so the hive are on the downfall opefully so now after the cabl it should be more vex story
