David hears the commotion outside and puts away his bag of cookies. As Beachball receives the message, David had already rushed out with his rifle to the window looking for whatever made the noise. David broke radio silence and spoke out to whoever is out there.
D: Ahem, guardian, I've received your message and I'm hearing some commotion. I'm assuming you're the one screaming and shooting, are you in need of backup, over?

Another static call comes "Oh thank...traveler....severely injured... Ghost isn't responding... Too cold... Please help..."
-
David's heart sank for a moment. He withdraws his rifle and instead readies his handcannon. He goes down the three stories through the stairs and exits the building as quick as he could. He again establishes contact with the injured guardian. Hopefully David can save this one... D: Alright, I got a clear idea of what's your predicament here. Guardian, what is your location? If you can't get to me through the radio just scream really, really loudly. B: What if he's already dead by the time we get to him? D: Don't talk like that Beachball, that's not happening.
-
There is a long silence, probably about 2 minutes. Suddenly an extremely loud scream pierces the air. And that scream is going to attract more attention. Much more attention
-
As the 2 longest minutes David has ever gone through ended, he was startled by the scream. What really scares him is the fallen, that most likely heard the scream. He takes out one of his daggers and runs in blindly into the storm, leaving all logic and reason behind. He bumps into a small group of dregs and vandals. 9 shots ring out, 7 bodies fall to the floor. Shortly after, fallen screams echo, and the remaining 3 thud to the floor. David keeps going, yet yields nothing on finding the guardian. He once again tries to establish communication, with a worried tone on his voice. D: Heh, listen to me, don't quit now. I'm in the middle of nowhere but I haven't given up. You gotta tell me exactly where you are bud, cause I am horribly lost here.
-
The lost guardian receives this message and tries to respond. He is in so much pain... Yet he manages to send his coordinates. This is the last thing he can do, as his vision starts to dim. He clutches his frozen ghost to his chest and hopes for the best as his vision fades to nothing.
-
As hopeless as the situation seemed, David received coordinates to an abandoned warehouse just around the corner. David ran as fast as he could in such low temperature, and kicked down the door, breaking the already frozen hinges. Something wasn't right. The warehouse had a lack of fallen, but that wasn't his biggest concern. As if now his priority is securing the guardian, and hopefully getting him back alive. David looks around and sees no sign of the guardian, so the next thing he does is about for him. D: Hey! Where are you? You still kickin'?
-
david heard but one sound "Ughhhhhhh"
-
David started searching frantically around the warehouse until he found a titan, shivering in the cold. His immediate action was to pick him up and take him into the nearest closed off room. In the heat of the moment, David forgot how heavy titans were. It didn't matter however, as it only makes his job a little harder. Then he heard fallen. There's at least 50 outside. He ran as fast as he could and made it inside a closed off room and barricaded it. He dropped the titan on one corner of the room and sat down. They were safe. For now... D: Beachball? B: Backup? D: Yup. Please do. B: On it.
-
Though the Titan has not responded, his Ghosts light was flickering extremely dimly. The Fallen have found the warehouse, and are trying to get inside.
-
David held the titans ghost in his hands. He put him on a table nearby and started to contact for support. He heard fallen outside, chattering, yelling. Then he heard the loud footsteps of the spider walkers. David wasn't going anywhere, not without backup at least. A voice was heard through David's comms, a woman. As they finish discussing a plan of action David turns to the titan to try and wake him up. D: Alright, I got some good help on the way. Titan, you hear me? If you wake up, I'll give you a cookie. B: David you expect him to wake up for that? D: Don't question my methods, bargaining is good negotiation.
-
Edited by cstubble: 9/28/2015 9:52:50 PMAs expected, no response. However, it seems as though a fleet of ships is moving in. Whether good or hostile, is unknown. The flickering of the Titans Ghost flickers slightly more now that it is no longer in the snow. It seems as though it is defrosting. (I kind of wanted him to wake up to the cookie to be honest haha)
-
D: You know, I should keep a warm batch always at standby. You never know when it can resurrect someone just as good as a ghost. Don't you think Beachball? B: Very funny David. D: Uh oh, I hear a bunch of ships in the air. What's Adara's ETA? B: She said about 5 minutes. D: Oh we're dead. Once again, fallen whirring echoed. The pirates kept arguing outside. Gunfire was heard, followed by a thud. Fallen and thier ruthlessness never ceased to amaze David. David went towards the ghost, and sighed at releif seeing it. Although, Beachball seemed more stressed than David. He doesn't like being in the same room with a dead ghost. David, as anxious as ever, peered over the ghost, waiting for it to recover.
-
The Ghosts light becomes steady. It seems to be completely thawed. "What.... What happened? Who are you and where are we?", said the ghost.
-
D: You tell me, we got a message from your guardian oveeeerrr... There, in that corner. *points at the titan* Seems to me you were outnumbered by space pirates and the snowstorm was just insult to injury. I picked up your guardian, barricaded the door, and we're waiting for one thing or the other. Impending death from said space pirates-- Loud banging was heard at the door. The Fallen have caught thier scent and are eager to lay waste to guardians. David breathed deep in and out and resumed talking. D: --or, await rescue from the legend herself, Adara Sov. Sounds cool right? Anyways, I'm pretty sure the Eliksni are gonna tear us apart first. At least not before I kill half of them. B: Nevermind him, is there a way we can defrost your guardian? What's his name? (Roll with the other character being a legend. Pls?)
-
Edited by cstubble: 9/29/2015 1:25:08 AMThe Ghost looks fully recovered. "My name is Gandalf. My Guardian over there *turns toward Titan* is named Siris. Dosent look like he's in good shape huh?" Gandalf looks toward the barricaded door, which dosent look like it'll hold much longer. "I might not be able to revive him alone, but maybe both me and your Ghost can do it together? It looks like that's the only option here. Considering... You know there is a LOT of fallen out there." (Do you mean Adara Sov? Sure that's fine!)
-
D: Do whatever you guys need to do, while I am going to set up some nice welcoming surprises for these grumpy pirates. Ok? Good, now do your thing. David rushes to the door and places a series of explosives and smokescreens all around the entrance. Beachball floats to Siris' body along with Gandalf, as anxious as ever without a clue of what to do. As David finishes with his traps, he quickly finds cover behind a large counter and mounts his rifle on it, waiting. The banging gets louder and louder and each more violent than the last. David turns to the ghosts over Siris' body and speaks to them. D: You know, I have no idea what you 2 are doing but it'd be great if you can wake up the big guy.
-
The two Ghosts look at each other and nod. They both use their inner light from the Traveler and slowly, Siris' body is thawed. Siris slowly opens his eyes. "So.... What'd I miss?"
-
D: Wake up sleeping beauty, angry space pirates are beating down the door I barricaded just so we could have this alone time you and me. I picked up your message, I'm the guy who was talking to you through comms. Don't you recognize my lovely voice? Suddenly, the violent banging stops. The fallen screech and yell at something else. Gunfire rings out, cries of pain and bones snapping are heard. All that ends with one familiar sound, a Fist of Favoc. After a few long seconds, knocking is heard from the door, and a woman's voice is heard. A: Open the door David! D: Wait, how do you know it's me? A: The fallen gave it away! D: Oh, I see. A: Open the door! D: Wait wait wait wait! The door is showered with traps, let me take them back before you waste them all. A: Hurry. David quickly grabs the bombs and smokescreens he had carefully laid out and put them back in his satchel. Adara walks in, arc energy crackling from her fists and legs, the cold air filling the room. Almost as cold as her. D: Took you long enough.
-
S: "Right.... Bad space aliens outside. What's the plan? Charging them and shooting? That would be fun" Once Adara arrives, Siris looks excited. S "Nice to meet you Adara, I'm the guy that was dead a couple minutes ago. Thank the Traveller someone came to save us... I thought I'd have to go kill em all myself!" G "What he means is to Thank both of you. We'd both be dead without you."
-
D: No problem. It's been a while since I saved a soul, let alone have to of them in the same room. A: We don't have time, we need to hurry. Adara gives Siris her hand. David got a small flashback of his earlier days. The fallen threat and deadly cold took him back years ago. Back when Adara was making a name for herself and when David had just mastered being a gunslinger. His flashback was interrupted by fallen screeching. He took out his handcannon and headed outside. Meanwhile Adara awaited Siris' response. A: Well? Would you like to freeze to death once more?
-
Siris looks up at Adara, and accepts her hand. S: "I'm good. Let's get going before more fallen show up." Gandalf: "Sorry to interrupt, but I'm Detecting Fallen reinforcements in the area. And there's a lot." S: "Why can't anything be easy?"
-
Gunfire is heard. Adara takes out her Down and Doubt 00 and gives Siris a gesture to follow. The two investigate and find David fighting another small fallen squad. Adara leaves David fighting the pirates and keeps running along. She give Siris another gesture to follow and she asks him something. A: Do you know where your ship is? The edge of the storm is a little further ahead, it's the only chance you have of escaping!
-
Siris runs along side Adara, holding his Last Extremity scout rifle. When Adara asks about his ship, Siris tries to remember. S: I remember it being outside the storm. Let's get out of here first, then I'll find it. What about David?
-
A: He'll be fine! If anyone can take care of himself is him. Push on, we're almost out of it! Adara keeps running through the storm. Battling with the elements, she stumbles but doesn't fall and keeps going. Shortly after she stops abruptly, the titans ran out of ground to run on. The two were on the edge of the storm and below them was a 20 meter drop into ruins of a forgotten town. A: This is it Siris, you need to call down your ship or I think we'll both fall down.
-
Siris looks down and curses. S: "Alright Gandalf... It's all you." G: "Let's hope this thing will come to us..." Suddenly Siris' ship flies down. It's beat up, but it'll work. S: "Ghost get us in there quick!!!" Both Adara and Siris are teleported into the ship.
