[b]He continues to walk, his footsteps light and impossible to hear.[/b]

[b] One of your footsteps depresses a stone in the floor, sending metal spikes hurtling at you from the end of the hallway in the dark[/b]
-
[b]He sets aside, pushing his back against the wall having the spike fly past him. He sighs with relief.[/b] "That was close."
-
[b] You manage to dodge them, and continue down the hallway[/b]
-
"Watch out for anymore traps guys." [b]He keep walking, his footing is now more careful.[/b]
-
[b] At the end of the hallway, a set of stairs leads downwards.[/b]
-
[b]Etana walks down the stairs [/b]
-
[b] As you walk down, pieces of stone fall of the walls, showing that the pyramid is old. Very old.[/b]
-
"We need to be careful guys. This place could collapse." [b]He keeps walking.[/b]
-
[b] You see a light at the bottom of the stairs, light coming through a doorway.[/b]
-
[b]He approaches it slowly.[/b]
-
[b] As you look through the doorway, you see a large, square room with bare walls, with a single huge emerald on a pedestal in the middle of the room. On the opposite side of the room, past the pedestal, is a doorway.[/b]
-
[b]He walks to the door [/b]
-
[b] Nothing appears to be wrong with the room.[/b]
-
"Hmm." [b]He walks towards the emerald.[/b]
-
[b] Nothing happens. All is calm.[/b]
-
[b]He looks for Theron and Daego.[/b]
-
[b] They are no where to be seen.[/b]
-
"Son of a bitch." [b]He looks at the emerald and touches it.[/b]
-
[b] The emerald topples to the floor, as three pieces of wall split open and three humanoid figures wrapped in gauze, wielding ancient looking knives step into the room. They do not do anything but stand there.[/b]
-
[b]He draws his red katana and looks at them.[/b]
-
[b] They speak in a low moan of a voice.[/b] "We are but one of the guardians traveler." [b] They make no threatening moves[/b]
-
"What are you guarding?"
-
"We do not know what we are guarding, just that it is our eternal duty."
-
"I wish no harm upon anyone, just wandering these ancient parts."
-
[b] You see that the doorway on the other side of the room has closed, and there are blue glowing symbols on it. Where the emerald was on the floor, there is now a key.[/b] "We are still the guardians Traveler. And only one of them."
