I used to think the skeleton in 'the wakening' story mission was one of an Ahamkara, three days after the release of the taken king I decided it's probably the bones of a giant worm. Even though worms don't have bones. And what are the cocoon shaped bugs on the moon?

Even though they're called worms, I don't think that they look exactly like worms in real life. It could easily be a worm skeleton, or an Ahamkara skeleton. Perhaps the worms and ahamkara are the same thing.

Yeah, I've noticed they're related but you can find worms on the dreadnaut, but who knows, maybe the worms cocoon and turn into dragons.

Yep. We know that worm larvae start off very small, since even thralls contain a worm within them. And they must grow very large since the dreadnaught is made from the carcass of one.

It is my personal opinion that the worms are the Ahamkara. Remember, we used to call dragons wyrms...

Perhaps you haven't been wrong either time...
