[b]Edited:So Yeah Turns out i was slow on uptake but in my defense im a player who dont watch videos ahead of playing a story mode of a game I like. So no I did not watch the PoE Video. I could add also that In the video provided THe House of Judgement Variks only says the name of weapon and that its both a strong and rare weapon. So ingame you get told nothing of being able to cook the charges. When I think cannon I think of old Iron ball cannon weapons so never though to hold down the fire button, was busy enjoying burning everything with my rods explosive impact. heh. thats still funny.

The Scorch Cannon In destiny can be fired for devastating effect....affect? No its effect right? Right, anyways it can do nice damage. but I just read the Grimoire Card and it said si=omthing along the lines of "Scorch Cannons are shoulder-mounted heavy impact weapons used by the Fallen for hull-puncturing in ship-to-ship raiding parties.
The Scorch Cannon uses a compressed Solar "furnace" to focus and direct superheated rods of solar energy. Each burst is mapped to the Cannon's firing matrix, allowing the wielder to hold a fired rod's charge.[u] Release of the firing actuator triggers detonation. The longer the actuator is held the greater the rod's explosive impact."

After I stopped laughing at my own dirty jokes that last part I underlined, I just thought wait what?! So I thought I would try something at the mission A Kell Rising to go test something out. You can hold the trigger when you fire to charge the explosion of a Schorch Cannon!!! That is all. Don't know if I was first to figure that out or if im slow on the uptake but for those like me that didn't know this fact is for you.
