This isn't exactly lore, it's more a gameplay thing, but if the Taken Psions can split seemingly indefinitely, why don't they just make an army with them?

Oh and also, how exactly does Humanity have Ahamkara bones to make the exotic armor pieces? Because I thought the Ahamkara were the gods that gave the Hive their power.

Not all Ahamkara are the Worms: only Eir, Ur, Xol, Yul, and Akka are. The Ahamkara seem to follow the Traveler, as they have visited not only Earth and the Fundament, but other worlds in the Hive's path
