Actually, I referenced what he said about getting it back and referenced other replies he commented on about his uncle going to jail and charges being pressed. And judging his uncle like that makes you a horrible person because when people go through hard times they do cruel shit and sometimes will try to get help if pushed hard enough. Don't be an ass and learn to read through comments

  • Have you ever been through something like this? After enough times you become numb to it. There's no point in sugar coating it. At that point his uncle only cares about one thing and it's not what it should be which is helping himself. I may be desensitized but I'm nowhere near cruel. And secondly you replied to the OP telling him that he must clearly not live in the states because tho purchaser is legally required to return stolen property yada yada. I understand that but the reality is he'd have to spend more money going through the motions to get the system back than he would to simply replace it. Unfortunately the law doesn't care about what happened to him. They'll charge his uncle for the sale of stolen goods but they can't charge the purchasing party, and if they say they don't have the system (which they likely will because they will not be refunded if it's returned to its rightful owner) then that's where the case dies. It's happened to me and I've seen it happen dozens of times. Unfortunately for me I grew up poor everything I had as a kid I had to save my money and buy. Plenty of it got stifled by neighborhood kids. My sisters father even. It's a sad thing but it makes you hard and immune to it. So I apologize for my lack of sympathy but I'm not gonna sit here and try and get the OPs hopes up when I know it's not gonna happen. Now if he started a gofundme for a new ps4 I would gladly chip in $20.

I didn't read your post nor am I bothering to reply right now. You're quick to judge his uncle so I'll reply later.
