The Exo Stranger is Taox!!! Or Taox is still inside the Traveler and will be come out in future dlc where we either deal with the "Worm God" or maybe vex again since if the Stranger is Taox she seems to be more worried about the vex than give now. Especially since we killed oryx the leader of the hive. But also where are his sisters? They might want revenge (if still alive, don't have all pages unlocked) but apparently aren't as strong as oryx but still immortal unless killed in their throne rooms.

Eris....
-
Nah the guardians know of Eris. I do wonder how she found Crota and the hive and went missing for years before there was evidence of the hive tho. Didn't we not know what the hive was when we first encountered them?
-
We knew that the Hive existed, definitely. Thousands of Guardians had been slaughtered by them years before during the Great Disaster on the Moon. We didn't know they were returning to Earth
-
No, definitely not

Read the Exo stranger grimoire card.
-
I've read it. It pretty much states that she is an inter-dimensional time traveler that looks for a timeline where the Darkness can truly be defeated
-
Taox was Oryx's and his two sister/brothers mother who betrayed and killed their dad because he was under the spell of worms. Taox allowed some other race to sneak up and take him out, the spawn vowed revenge and Taox fled after the Traveler arrived to try and fight them.

No. She was their teacher. She thought the king was going crazy because he blathered about the moons
turns out he was right
. She thought none of the sisters could handle the throne and their people would be wiped out. So she turned to the enemy with "grief" and asked them to take out the royal line, and she would rule, basically as puppet.
-
No, the king lost his shit. "Senility has claimed my lord the Osmium King. He is ten, and mad. The study of ancient text consumes him. Today he raves about moons above the storm. Tomorrow he will wander the halls, speaking to his familiar, a dead white worm from the deep sea. He keeps it in glass, and he tends to it, and he neglects the duties of a king."
-
He did, but he was also right. And if his daughter hadn't stolen the worm when Taox tried to kill them, then everything would be different. Or if Taox had just offed the king (or even waited until he died) and gotten rid of the worm, but let the daughters rule, they would've never been forced to flee to the deep and basically become Goa'uld. But then we wouldn't have a story. 😝 Thing is... People debate whether the traveller was right to wipe out a bunch of people for the greater good... Was Taox right to try and wipe out a royal line? It's a complicated thing.
-
It's a shame. She had the right idea no matter how brutal. If she succeeded she could've saved the krill people from becoming the Hive.
-
Yeah those worms are the root of all problems.
-
........no, just no
-
I don't think the stranger is Toax, since Toax is one of the proto-Hive (not an exo) and oryx's sisters are still alive. They leave him sometime before the hive come to earth to try and become stronger. So we can assume that they'll be in some kind of DLC.

The traveler and more "moons" existed in this place, and from what I understand it is because of the traveler the Exo exist as sentient life
-
The traveler indirectly created exos. The traveler created the golden age which allowed humans to create the exo
-
Humans did create exos aka robots but the light from the traveler gave them their own "souls"
-
Humans both created the Exos and their consciousnesses through a subroutine known as Deep Stone Crypt. Some, if not all Exos, were once human
-
As in they keep the same consciousness, kind of like the movie Chappie?
-
Yes, but they have little to no memories of their past life. Some, like Cayde, have occasional relapses, and some Exos become thanatonauts, purposely killing themselves to gain knowledge
-
Taox is Speaker?
-
Taox is supposed to be a chick but so is oryx? So maybe lol. Maybe in the world of destiny women are men and vice versa
-
Only Hive can pull that off. But the Speaker is as big as an Acolyte and maybe he is blending in for centuries.

Oryx was a female and over time became male. This implies their race was similar to how frogs and certain species of fish can chemically change sex based on circumstances:
In most species of sex-changing fish, the males are the alpha sex, meaning the males are larger and more aggressive and usually do very little if any tending of the eggs. In these species, fish start out as female when they are small and then change sex into males when they get large enough or tough enough to establish behavioral dominance over the other fish in their group.
