If you have the serial and mac address, you can turn that into the local police department and sony will track that system. As soon as it is connected to the internet, it will ping to Sony and they will have its new IP address and then they can track down the address on file with that person's internet provider!!! Good luck! Trust me, been there, done that. As long as you file a police report and they get in touch with Sony, they will track it as long as the thief who stole it, or any new person that uses it, connects it to the internet. If you do not have the MAC address for the system, contact Sony and request it if you have the box and serial # still.
