Completely understand.
When I was 16 my BEST FRIEND became friends with some other shady guy and broke into my home & stole $100+ from my fathers den.
Felt so betrayed and untrusting for the longest time after that due to the fact that my best friend of 6+ years seriously broke in my home & stole shit.
