Because the subclass is pretty much useless in PVP aside from that.

Yes I forgot about keen scout. Shade step is so stupid easy to read the smoke bombs aren't as useful as say a charged scorch melee and the grenades are eh. I would rather run GG over it anyday.

Ha, shadestep gets me hate mail for unknown reasons, dodging and shotgunning is worse than blink, if you could master shadestep.

you can go invisible with a smokebomb and shade step allows you to escape near death. you must not be using the subclass correctly if you think its useless.
