Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

Rank 2 gives you a quest for a class specific legendary. Rank 3 is a quest for the class specific exotic.

He's worth reaching rank 3 on. Although I'd argue he's worth ranking each time.

You get quests at two and three for guns.... And rumor is you get to rank 5 and its another quest for a gun

As a rule of thumb I think Destiny has made ranking up more relevant, especially for the gunsmith. There is still a cap to things, I believe, but I think it's worth getting to at least rank 3 wherever possible.
