I highly suggest you check out my characters profile on the character sign up post to this thread. It ties into the general direction I want to go with this. This is a long read, so thanks in advance if you do.
//Location: Earth //Region: unknown The distant howls of Fallen echoed through the air as a lone guardian stepped into the inner courtyard of what looked to once be an old military research facility. The guardian bore the Mark of the Executor and a full set of Kallipolis armor, save his helmet, which looked to be of Hive origin. On his back lay a sword that pulsated with pure solar energy. At his side, a small hand gun strapped to his outer thigh. In his hands, a scout rifle aimed steadily ahead as the Titan continued to delve further into the courtyard. The wall of the facility read 'SUROS.' As did his weapon. For whatever reason, Exidaun had always had a strong liking for the weapons manufactured by this particular foundry. He was lead here by Banshee-44. Banshee had informed Exidaun that if he wished to regain memories of his past, he may benefit from coming here. The trouble is, he didn't quite know what was here. No one did really, not even the Vanguard had ever ventured this far out in decades. Once he felt he was safe, Exidaun put down his heavy sword and his scout rifle and began to look around, hoping to find anything that seemed familiar to him. His Ghost appeared at his side. Exidaun: So how much do we actually know about this place? Ghost: Virtually nothing... Exidaun: Hmm, and Banshee is sure this place is of use to me? Ghost: If anyone knows technology, it's Banshee. He says your body seems to be of SUROS origin. Exidaun: Oh, so I'm just some tech item to be examined now? Ghost: You know what I meant.. Exidaun: Relax, I'm just grinding your gears. Ghost: I don't have gears, actually. However, you do! Exidaun: That's more like it! Do me a favor and give me a scan of the area, we need to find a way inside that doesn't involve any alarms being tripped. Ghost: I can't help that, I just open doors. The little red and white bot dissipated and reappeared randomly throughout the courtyard, scanning every entrance and corner. He returned to Exidaun's side. Ghost: I'm no expert, but theres a broken window behind some debris. That seems like a good start. Exidaun: Okay, I know you're an AI, but no reason to get smart with me. Ghost: A fair warning though, I'm picking up movement inside. Exidaun: It's probably just the wildlife. Nothing to worry about. Ghost: The common 'wildlife' around here has changed over the years. We should be careful. Exidaun: Don't worry, we've probably seen much worse. Exidaun shoved aside a wall of wood and rubble to find a large window with a hole busted through the center. It was blocked from behind by a wooden wall, most likely a bookcase, or cabinet. He pushed forward on the object, and using his Exo strength, he managed to burst forward, falling to the floor of what seemed to be a large office. The room held a desk with some broken monitors, bookshelves, office chairs and many broken pictures hung crooked or lay cracked on the floor. Shattered glass crackled and shifted under his boots as he stood. There was a rumble, and dust fell from the cracked ceiling. The cracks grew and split as the roof caved in around Exidaun. He jumped forward and managed to dodge the Avalanche of concrete and metal. He stood once more and rained his composure. It was dark and cold. The only illumination coming from his Ghost. As the dust settled, he saw a long dark hallway, leading further into the building. Exidaun: No turning back now. Ghost: That's what I'm afraid of...
