The hunter Dillinja scoured the wastes of mars with his sniper rifle looking for any signs of movement. He found none. "Why do we always get stuck with the crummy missions, I wanna be like the guardians that lead the raid on the vault of glass!" He said with sadness in his voice. "I'm sure we will get something good soon" his ghost reassured. "They just haven't realised our full potential yet". "I hope your right" Dillinja responded placing his visor back inline with the scope. On the edge of the horizon he could see some movement, zooming the large silhouette if a centurion contrasted against the red sands. "In fact" his voice bursting with mischief "why don't we see if we can bait over the Cabal?" "I don't thin......" Before the ghost could finish the young hunter had jumped from the ledge and called down his ship. "What are you doing" the ghost floating softly down above his shoulder, it's eye looking inquisitively. "Just stripping off some some rockets, using these trip mine detonators we can really cause some damage" he said smugly. "You think it will work?" " oh it will work!." He said with a chuckle burying the rockets into the sand in front of his position. "And How are exactly are you planning to draw them over" his ghost said looking over the horizon. "With this!" Dillinja said promptly shooting his emergency flare into the sky. He looked up "Well great" sighed the ghost.

" 'File number 1863489- ahamkara whereabouts insinuation: we have assumed that the ahamkara being from the void could have escaped some of the genocide inflicted upon them and rested at an excluded vacinity' listen KC, do you really believe this could be true, we've been following these leads for hours" the ghost sighed, exasperated from reading off the files. "Where there's a will there is a way ghost. These bones... They are so tantalizing. They speak to me of answers to questions that I wouldn't dare to inquire about. If there is a chance I can stumble upon a living one which circumvented it's destruction. I'm willing to take it." The ghost stared bewildered. He knew this warlock for a year now. His partner. He was an introvert. Reclusive even to his own comrades and clan mates. Perhaps the seclusion got to him explaining them scouring mars thanks to a helm. The warlock was more than a veteran. Even being human, he was highly intellectual even when compared to the greatest of exo. He plated himself in the armor and weapons he obtained. Holstered to his back an old worn fusion rifle named the trolley problem next to it ; pradyeth's revenge. In his hands was the infamous bad juju. Many around the tower even said he exhibited the same mannerisms as that shattered man. His face covered by the taboo of the skull of dire ahamkara. His chest, protected by the ancient hezen lord robes changing his heart beat to a vex algorithm. His boots were that of a Kellbreakers and his arms were talion grace. He turned sepiks prime to mere rubble. Tajiks to a corpse. A values to a dehydrated slug. Sekrion. To a battered broken computer. The black heart to nothing. The undying mind into nothings. Disintegrated atheon, the templar, skolas, and it yut into his void energy. And saw as his comrades eviscerated crota. He saw much more than some would like. They continued through the red sand till. "A flare?" Said ghost. "This can't be good. There are rarely any flares shot on mars. There may be taken activity. LET'S HURRY" he dispatched on his sparrow toward the origin of the flare

  • With a quick glance through Dillinja could see the centurion slowly turn gazing up at the red flare making its way across the sky, its head was the only part of the the Cabal that turned to face the far off cliffs. With a quick hand gesture an Interceptor made its way into view, it's driver obviously keen to prove himself sped off towards the rock moving with some haste. The sun was starting to set behind Dillinja the shade covering the sand below allowing his dark red WetWork cloak to hide him effortlessly. The Cabla shoot straight past him gunning for the small opening between the cliffs. A lone shot rang out across the wastes demanding to be heard by all, then just as suddenly it came the sound fell back into the wind. A clean fresh hole still smoking from the solar damage of Dillinja's Violator VII had been left in the driver now slumped off one side of the Interceptor forcing it to drift off to the left into the jagged rock face. He always did like New Monarchy issued snipers, so clean and precise, always ready for more. This time the Centurion gave the respect of a full body turn listening closely to the sound echoing off the dunes, a second shot flys past the Centurion scraping along his helmet, creating a deep grove past the eye. "Well I think you have successfully pissed of that Cabal" mocked his ghost. "Well they are about to be a whole lot more, I haven't even started yet!" A harvester flow over head quickly picking up the commander and taking him out of the fire fight. 12 legionaries jumped down to replace him, two were dead before made landfall. The rest scattered in all directions sticking to the rocks slowly making their way up the cliff side. One if the cabal had rushed in ahead of the others, a mistake. First lesson of the crucible, always stick with your fire team. Silently Dillinja slid down the steep rock face, with a swift kick off the slope he flung himself into the air, still as silent as and owl drawing the blade from his Fear Eater gauntlets and landed the edge in the underside of the Cabals chin. This caused the think black fluid to pore from the gap in his armour covering the red rockface. This would be his bait. The remaining 9 legionaries clambered into a clearing finding Their comrade gasping for air, the harvester made another pass to pick up the wounded, now was the time. With a flick a switch the grown was thrown it on the air smashing the Harvester into the rock and then into the floor. "Now that... That was fun, did you see me? they were like "were gonna get you" and I was like "ha please you can't even see me" then that explosion! That was way bigger then I thought it would be..... If only I had recorded that.." "Umm I don't think you quite finished them all" his ghost said facing the now smouldering Harvester. Dillinja span on the spot the great weight if the centurion crashing into him, it's fists started to pound him into the ground, his shield breaking instantly. The great beast grabbed his cape throwing him like a small pebble across the clearing onto his back. The Centurion jumped with his jet boosters screaming over to him, this was it end of the line he thought. Suddenly the dust settled, the air went still and heat rushed away from his body as large void as dark as the night ripped its way Into the empty space. Alone dark hand reached out pulling the Centurion in. "What the -blam!- was that......"

You could hear the cabal beast screaming like a child for mercy. Soon It called in it's tounge for a deployment of troops. As soon as they dropped. The same fate fell to them. More and more cabal came to the ground. And with each deployment, only more pleas for mercy could be heard. Soon the harvester retreated. The void slowly diminished leaving the silhouette of a warlock manically laughing over the disintegrated corpses. A voice gleamed in the back of your mind. "Why look oh listener mine. That is my guardian," the warlock turned to you. With a hand to help you to your feet. "You realize what you've done?" He inquired. "You made me and you enemy number one to what seemed to be... Valus protectors. I was hoping for some fun!".
