He smiles and gives a slight laugh as he observes. To him it's like finding a small light in complete darkness. There it was! He could see it, feel it, the goodness, the altruism! Good in it's purest! With newfound energy he hoists himself back up and continues trudging down the alley, one hand against the wall to keep his footing.
