Taox.
Logically speaking, she must be dead (she had no worm so she wasn't imortal). But very little about this game's lore follows conventional logic, so I bet she's somehow still alive somewhere. The siblings still hunt her, and she still plots against them...
Also.....the Awoken Queen.
Is she really an Awoken? Or did she just become one later on when she became their queen? Watch the opening cut scene of TTK again. Made me raise my eyebrow a bit.
Crazy theory of the day! Ready?...
Taox survives, somehow gets magical powers, changes form, and becomes the Queen. (10/10 crazy, I know, but this IS Destiny we're talking about).

Actually, I think that perhaps Eris' rock could be a part, or even what's left, of Taox. It could explain why Eris says it "speaks to her. I also think when Eris says her thing in the cutscene after you beat Oryx, when she says "My Queen" she might be referring to Taox.

Eris is oryx sister sathona the cunning one. The rock is her fathers familiar the worm from the deep that speaks to her. It said in the book of sorrow she is know to hide amongst oryxs enemys. Sword logic dictates she kill him. She used us to kill him so she could take her tribute back as oryx was denying her.

I believe Mara is 100% Awoken. When she says, "The Awoken are my family now," she could simply be referring to the fact that she has no family besides her brother. She may have been one of the first Awoken, created towards the end of the Collapse
