The rose isn't what you think it is. There was never a rose. There is a hunter artifact that is literally a rose called dredgen yor's rose.
-
Thorn was always thorn. Wasn't until Dredgen Yor was corrupted that he saw that his "rose" was a Thorn.
-
And how would you know? (;
-
He read grimoire he's right.
-
You know what sarcasm is?
-
There is a Hunter relic called "Dredgen Yor's Rose". I had a nerdgasm when I saw it drop for my friend.
-
Relic? You mean artifact?
-
Yeah that's what I mean.
-
Yeah, i saw it before TTK dropped and i want it.
-
There was, and it was wielded by a great hero. But that hero turned dark, and his Rose wilted and left behind only a Thorn
-
Hmm, i thought Thorn had always been Thorn just twisted by the Hive. Especially after: "He looked down at his Rose and realized for the first time that it held no petals: only the jagged purpose of angry thorns." Guess not.
-
The man who Yor used to be saw it as a Rose, but Dredgen himself saw it as a Thorn after it was corrupted by the Hive
-
I see, it changed with him. Also, are the "worms" in the Book of Sorrows Ahamkara or something else that changed the Hive?
-
They seem to be Ahamkara, and that's the theory I support
-
Do tell why you think so.
-
They seem to be very fond of the phrase "oh _____ mine." AnonPig theorized that, based on what we know, Ahamkara are very similar to an Aztec god, who looked like a feathered, worm-like dragon. Yul, the Honest Worm, commented "Behold...my great and coiling length, my folded jaws and curled wings." Additionally, the Worms promised Aurash and her sisters eternal life and revenge in exchange for swallowing their larvae. Ahamkara were also known to make promises and grant wishes at dangerous prices

Edited by Xerosus: 9/23/2015 12:37:56 AMHmm, thought as much but at the same time i didn't want to jump on the Ahamkara train simply off the "oh___ of mine" I also noticed that the Bones of Eao have bug like features around the knee so i feel it adds to the theory. (Unless they aren't Ahamkara related)
