"Bloody hell," kovac quickly moves towards you ripping his mark off holding on the wound. His ghost pips up, "guardian ships approaching eta 2 minutes."

"Don't bloody your mark for me, I will be...fine..." She moves the Titan's arm away, and looks to him with a weak smirk behind her helmet's visor. "Trust me on this."
-
"Youve already lost alot of blood kira," kovac moves his arm back holding the mark in place as three full fire teams of vanguard members deploy around them. A couple of warlocks begin to tend to you while a titan begins speaking with me.
-
As one of the Warlocks slides her helmet off, a single tear slides down her cheek, but the medic have no time for it and she felt herself lifted up and an arm around his shoulder. "Kov...ac..." she mutters the name of the man, now crying silently and under her breath.
-
He would turn hearing his name, "get her to medical now!" He watched as they vanished in bright light, the titan that was speaking to him tapped him on the shoulder speaking softly one more time before going about his business. Kovacs ghost began the process of getting kovac to his ship.
-
She whines and complains about the mark she ruined, feeling worse about the ruined fabric that symbolizes a Titan's very being. "God damn...I can't believe.." Her Ghost looks to her chirping quietly. "Kira, don't blame yourself for an occupational hazard. Besides, who could guess that would happen?" She sighs and let's the world consume her, closing her eyes and hoping for something good.
-
A short while passes before kovac deboards his ship in the tower. He sat down at one of the many benches taking a much needed breather. A few guardians passed by waving to him as he waved back but his mind was somewhere else, he worried about kira and her recovery.
-
She lays in the med bay, still 100% conscious as a Frame fiddles with the large chunk of deformed metal. "Doc, just...pull it!" She's met with a robotic "Affirmative.", as a rather loud scream echoes through the halls.
-
Kovac head looks around as though he had heard a scream thinking it was nothing he went back to fiddling with a twig in his hands. His ghost would appear by his head happidly chirping, "zavala's not going to be happy you ripped your mark off...again." Kovac would playfully swipe at his ghost with the twig, "well he cant blame me either he would of done the same as well as shaxx."
-
She looks to the frame with massive tears steaming down her now pale cheeks, giving a halfhearted smirk. "Nice job, now patch me up.." She gets the same response, closing her eyes once more as her armour is removed and she's left in a neoprene underlayer.
-
Kovac would get up and stretch before walking over to the large tree in the courtyard sitting down at the base. He would close his exhausted eye muttering softly to his ghost, "keep a look out for kira i need...to know...if..shes alright," he dozed off snoring softly.
-
Though it would take multiple hours for Kira to be cleared, she eventually is let loose with her threaded armour and old underlayer. As she exits medical, she looks around for Kovac, finding him up against the tree. "Asleep, guess he did what was needed." Her expression here somber as she continued to the New Monarchy area.
-
Kovacs ghost began bumping into his head trying to wake him but kovac just waved the ghost off snoring softly. A few guardians chuckle in amusement watching the ghost.
-
She shakes her head at the laughing of the other guardians, finding it off how anybody would be remotely happy in a time such as this. It takes a moment, but she stops and realised that she might actually want to thank Kovac for his effort in keeping her alive. Thusly, she saunters over without real conviction, letting her Ghost deal with depositing all of her armour aside from the cloak. "Kovac."
-
He would grunt in his sleep mumbling, "five more minutes zavala...ill...get...the mission done.."he snores softly his ghost turning to you flying up to your face, "maybe you can wake him."
-
She nods to the Ghost and kneels down, careful but to reopen the wound. "Kovac, time to wake up." She speaks in a singsong tone, gaping that's enough to wake the hulking titan.
-
Kovacs eye would flutter for a second as he grumbles softly before yawning widely, "how have i been out?" He would stretch before groaning in satisfaction. He then took note of the person in front of him, "hi kira glad to see you up and about."
-
"You were out for a few hours by my guess, and...it's good to see you too." She stands, looking to the Gunsmith with a slight smile. "Why aren't you back in your dorm? You could have easily left me and visited some other time.".
-
Kovacs ghost chirps, "he prefers to sleep outside usually more relaxing," kovac would swipe at the ghost as it chirped happidly. Kovac sighs softly before yawning again.
-
She tries to stifle a yawn of her own, ultimately failing. "Achilles, call me Achilles." Her Ghost looks at the rather tired man, twisting and turning with slight robotic sounds.
-
He would blink in surprise before chuckling softly, "thats an odd name for a ghost but tis a pleasure to meet you achilles." His ghost flew over to the other one twisting and turning, "kovac hasnt named me yet although he does yell at me alot." His ghost would happidly chirp as kovac sighs again, "well i yell at you because your always so busy scanning everything."
-
"Hm, I guess Achilles trusts you now. What a wonderful thing." Her Ghost hears his name and floats to his guardian, nuzzling her like a cat. "Either way Kovac, I can't thank you enough. I really do wish that I might be able to repay you some day..." Her aquamarine gaze rests on the war torn face of the lieutenant, analyzing every millimetre.
-
He would wave a hand dismissing it, "The titans defend the city and the guardians. You dont have to repay me kira, i was doing my duty as i would expect from any other vanguard member." Kovac would stand slowly stretching out his back and legs yawning again.
-
"I understand that, but I don't owe you as a guardian. I owe you as a friend, and that's theoretically worse." She continues to stare at him, keeping a neutral expression as most Awoken do.
-
He would look at her before playfully punching her arm, "lighten up kira i couldnt just let you die out there," he would smile softly.
-
"Well, what would you do if the roles were reversed? What would you think to do if I saved you?" Her eyelids close slightly, producing a cold stare with minimal emotion.
