"I'm sorry, I...I shouldn't have asked." She gently places a hand on the shoulder of her new acquaintance, sighing heavily. "Please, forgive me for my...ignorance..."

He would blink in surprise before chuckling softly, "thats an odd name for a ghost but tis a pleasure to meet you achilles." His ghost flew over to the other one twisting and turning, "kovac hasnt named me yet although he does yell at me alot." His ghost would happidly chirp as kovac sighs again, "well i yell at you because your always so busy scanning everything."
-
"Hm, I guess Achilles trusts you now. What a wonderful thing." Her Ghost hears his name and floats to his guardian, nuzzling her like a cat. "Either way Kovac, I can't thank you enough. I really do wish that I might be able to repay you some day..." Her aquamarine gaze rests on the war torn face of the lieutenant, analyzing every millimetre.
-
He would wave a hand dismissing it, "The titans defend the city and the guardians. You dont have to repay me kira, i was doing my duty as i would expect from any other vanguard member." Kovac would stand slowly stretching out his back and legs yawning again.
-
"I understand that, but I don't owe you as a guardian. I owe you as a friend, and that's theoretically worse." She continues to stare at him, keeping a neutral expression as most Awoken do.
-
He would look at her before playfully punching her arm, "lighten up kira i couldnt just let you die out there," he would smile softly.
-
"Well, what would you do if the roles were reversed? What would you think to do if I saved you?" Her eyelids close slightly, producing a cold stare with minimal emotion.
-
Kovac would tap his chin lightly before slapping your back nearly knocking you over, "id buy ya a drink for saving my life id be the least i could do!" Kovacs ghost sighed in contempt, "do remember lieutenant that she is still recovering."
-
She winced and chokes back tears, nearly vomiting from the pain. However, she puts on her best smile and games a chuckle. "Alright, then a drink it is..."
-
He would blush from embarrassment, "sorry kira...dont know my own strength sometimes," his ghost making a tsk sound at him, "you nearly killed her kovac be careful!" Kovac would chuckle softly smiling widely.
-
"Don't worry about it, the booze will fill the pain anyways." She straightens up and grabs her Ghost from the air, planting a soft kids on one of the peaks of its shell. "Transfer my glimmer from stash 9, if you'd please." Achilles beeps for a few seconds before uttering the singular word "Done."
-
He watch the two interact before chuckling softly, "lets get moving before they decide to call me back in," he began walking towards the hanger waving to the various guardians.
-
She kept close, almost copying her behemoth of a friend and keeping a completely straight face. "So, what is it that you like to kill your liver with?" She let out a kiddish giggle and hoped to the Traveller Kovac didn't hear.
-
He would answer simply, "Whiskey it does the heart good," he would smile slightly hearing a faint giggle. He would turn into the hanger following the walkway to below the future war cult rep center.
-
Her pace chickens as she can feel the other faction representatives staring coldly at her. "Ah, I'm more of a fan of the sweeter stuff, such as any liqueur or flavoured vodka. However...I don't mind absinthe at all either." She looks over at him, now conveniently by his side.
-
Kovac would turn his slightly staring at one of the titans representing dead orbit before barking at him, "we got a problem titan?!" The titan would advert his gaze away from the pair shuffling his feet before speaking to one of the dead orbit members. Kovac keeps walking looking forward again speaking loudly, "Didnt think so guardian remember whos house your in."
-
"I was a bit of a pain in the Crucible, I managed to prove my worth in the Iron Banner and owned a ton of their weapons." Her hands made slight gestures as she talked, making it seem as though she were taunting the Dead Orbit faction. "Matter of fact, my two favourites were always Efrideet's Spear and Gheleon's Demise."
-
Kovac chuckled softly, "as much as i respect the iron banner i never really had time for it, to busy with vanguard operations. But i did do some crucible when i had the chance." Kovac pointed to the crucible chart as they walked into the bar area, his named pinned incredibly high on the control chart. His ghost would pip up, "he only does the crucible because it gives him an excuse to punch warlocks."
-
"Is that so?" She looks at the Ghost and smirks. "That's something we have in common then. Although, I'm more of a fan of skirmish and rumble."
-
He would make a sour face, "i dislike those no objectives just killing." He would pull a chair out for you to sit in, "cant forget my manners ladies first." His ghost would fly around the room scanning small nick-nacks as the bar tender wandered over.
-
She takes her seat, placing her hands on the bar counter top and grins. "Thank you lieutenant." Her Ghost floats over to a map, looking at the known loot caches and weapons to be found.
-
Kovac smiled slightly before taking a seat across from you, "the usual for me and vodka tonic for the lady." The bartender nods before walking away to grab the drinks. Kovacs ghost floats over to look at the map as well.
-
"I've been after a weapon, something of an enigma." She looks down to her dainty digits not he counter, interlacing her fingers slowly and steadily.
-
He leaned back in his chair, "oh? What kind of weapon are we talking about." He would stifle another yawn again before rubbing his eye. His ghost floats back over to him floating just above his right shoulder.
-
"A fusion rifle, one of the Cassoid foundry masterpieces. They call it Telesto." She looks up as the barkeep places her glass in front of her, realizing that she's paying. So, she grabs a cube of glimmer worth 200 units and hands it to the man. "Ever heard of it Kovac?"
-
"Aye i have one of the higher up warlocks has one i believe. Smug bastard he is," kovac would sip the whiskey quietly thinking quietly. His ghost would pip up, "lieutenant doesnt the one with the nine come soon?"
