A single shot rings out. Instead of being where Kairos said the first one would be, it's directly into your Sparrow's core. It instantly slows you down, when suddenly, Kairos flies overhead on his Sparrow, going towards the Cabal's FOBs.

As his Sparrow explodes, Kairos rolls, landing on a knee. Kairos glares at you, void energy crackling along his arms. "Tell me it all. Or you will see what this Titan is capable of. Then, I'll hear this other Guardian's story. If I don't like either, I run, and you two can fight it out, because apparently, you're rogue. And I don't like those who turn away from all that the City has given them. I'll take a side if necessary, so you better be a good talker."

It started back with her. Her name was chrono-8 a good friend, and mentor. She was a sunsinger but she taught me everything I knew at the time. Once I even was foolish enough to hunt draksis the winter kell. Had it not been for her, I would have died for good. Her, Korvac, and corzan -a hunter- were a full fledged clan. Brothers and sisters. One day they all left to take down a serious threat... Phogoth. It had been hours. They still hadn't come back. So I went after them. Corzan was dead... Split in two still cursing. Korvac was unconscious. And chrono, she was still protecting them. In all my awe I hadn't notice phogoth set his sites on me. She took the blast and... I finished the job. I couldn't live without her. Korvac just acted like nothing even happened! Then I heard of the ahamkara. Like the one on my head. They can bequeath me the capability to consume this reality. I can not only get chrono back. But I can change everything. I told the speaker of my plan and he attempted to trick me. The ahamkara... They .... Can do it. I went off on excursion and excursion searching. Then a sunsinger got in my way. What I need is down there. But I didn't mean to kill infernal. I swear. Please korios, it's so close. Just help me

Kairos stands still, breathing hard. The void energy continues to grow, encasing most of the Titan's upper body. "Get out of my sight. I see you again, and I'll personally take you in and rip that Ahamkara off your skull. Only reason I'm letting you go is because you saved me. Storm will hit any second. Might want to hit the ruins before that happens." Kairos spits out, anger in his voice.

He just wouldn't leave me alone. I can bring him back, chrono back... ALL OF THEM!!!! Can't you see that? I can change this for the better. Unlike that fraud!!! 'Speaker' come on now. Isn't it obscure how he is supposed to speak for the light yet he rarely has anything substantial to say?! He is lying!!!! The ahamkara are telling the truth. Just come with to the ruins I can prove it!!!!

KC augments void energy and contorts yours to his whim "next time don't challenge a voidmaster" he holds an energy of a collapsing star in his palm aimed at kovac. "I don't want to do this. Now here's what's going to happen. You [b][u]will[/u][/b] follow me into the ruins or commando over there dies. And if you kill me as well, then who looks like rouge? KC retorts as the storm encroaches even more. "Times a wasting defender"

You hear Kairos roar over the storm, and you see him slowly walk through the sands towards you, now fully encased in the Void. He carries no weapons, but that does not stop him. He pauses around fifteen feet away from you.

You step closer to Kairos, inspecting him. You notice Void light still on his hand, but it is changing. Evolving. Turning orange. You stand there, curious, as the orange light sparks, and a flame ignites. It spreads rapidly across his arm, shooting up into his helmet. Kairos pulses once, before moving his head, looking at you. "Titans.... never... break." He says, pushing backwards, away from you. He shakily climbs to his feet, the flames dancing across his armor. "I... do... not.... bow." He spits out, grabbing a sidearm from a holster on his back, quickly loading it, and aiming it at you.

Kairos stumbles, flames sputtering out. He drops to his knees in the sand, exhausted. He grabs at something on his waist, a pen-like object. He pops open the top, tearing off his helmet, pressing the tube to his neck. He hits the button, and sighs as he takes the Exo equivalent of an adrenaline shot. Almost instantly, Kairos feels his energy returning. "Kovac... you're going to hate this idea."

"What have I done?" He asked himself "well you certainly didn't do well on refining your hygiene" retorted a voice.. Female... Familiar. "Chrono!!!! I knew it would work! Then that means the speaker was lying.. It doesn't matter!!! I'll just alter whatever I -" KC was interrupted by the hilt of a knife hitting his head as a palm pats his back "C-corzan! INFERNAL" KC exclaimed. "Why so surprised to see me knuckle head? What was I not apart of the wish?" corzan asked "I'm just glad to see yo- ahhhhhhhhh!" A great pain welded over KC. "[b][u]time is soon to be up bearer mine... I must thank you for all you've done.[/u][/b]

Kovac look at kairos before swiftly ripping his helmet off dropping to all fours and puking his guts out. Kovac gasps for breathes as he sits back wiping his mouth before sliding his helmet back on. "Amd that idea would be kairos?"

Kovac taps his helmet gently, "well lets give it a go and hopefully it works...if it doesnt we'll lose mars for good." Stretches my arms and cracking my back.

Kairos stands, rejuvenated and ready to fight. "You ready to roll?" He asks, throwing on his helmet.

"Well itd be better then just sitting here im just unsure if thisll work," kovac stated nervously as his ghost pinged a message to the vanguard.

Kairos shakily starts walking towards the ruins. Void energy begins to build, swirling around the Titan. "So... This Void explosion I'm going to release.. I'll try and explain it to you. Essentially, I bind Arc energy to the Void, turning the Fist of Havoc into something that is even MORE unstable than it normally is. The downside is the pure energy it takes. Those Void shields I put up? They take a lot out of me. I'm going to need you to channel some Arc energy. Once you've hit your limit, we release it as a blast of energy, hopefully bringing the ruins down on KC." Kairos pauses for a second. "What does Shaxx want with me? He said he was done talking with me for a while."

Kovac stands clenching his fists arc energy crackling loudly as i walk beside you, "he didnt say although it sounded extremely important." The arc energy began to spark and flare towards you as my armor began to be covered by jt.

Kairos grunts. By this point, the two Guardians are less than 100m away from the ruin. "Our best bet to sink the structure is actually the first chamber. We just walk in, release the energy, and haul ass out of there." Kairos tells you, fatigue distinguishable in his voice.

Kovac would grunt knowing full well what would happened if they were to fail. "Titans do not waiver. Titans are the wall which the darkness breaks against.." kovac began chanting quietly gradually getting louder as they grew near.

"Titans do not bow. Do not break. Our enemies do not stand before us, they lay broken and dying behind us. We are TITANS. We have sworn to defend the City. And defend the City I shall." Kairos joins in, Void energy arcing towards the ground, but Kairos doesn't notice. He reaches the entrance to the ruins, turns and looks at you. "Ready?" He asks.
