You know who else hid secrets from the vanguard and broke laws? Future war cult. Exploration is a key factor but we can't do it safely or efficiently due to our tech not being as advanced as it once was. Things are looking better for the city but with the current threats being what they are, running like a coward isn't always bad choice. We only look to the sky for hope and salvation, not with a pessimistic outlook. I find the vastness of space poetic, vague, and hypnotic. I look up and see a future for humanity among the light of other stars.
