Don't "fix" the drop %!!
Dear Bungie
Please don't lower the exotic drop rate when using a 3 of coins. I've used 40. Killed 40 bosses/ultras (Legit, not farmed) and only found 3 exotics. I could have just bought engrams from Xur cheaper, quicker, and with no work.
The drop rate is not the problem.
The cheese farming is the problem.
That's what to 'fix'.
Ed. Community consensus is a timer (like on synths) would be the best fix. Legit play is unaffected and cheese farming is stopped. Win/win bungie.

Just put a timer on it, that or make it increase the exotic drop at the end of a mission after an ultra is killed. That should span it far enough out to make it useful. Or/and year 2 items only drop from year 2 missions/strikes and year 1 rewards with year 1 missions.
