Nope. They won't kill off a major character like her so unceremoniously.

In the quest by Petra for the wolves on Mars, Petra mentions the death of the queen. Also before TTK released, bungie an coined that "a major character in year 1 will die in TTK

The reef are unsure about the Queen. But they presume she is dead. We barely know the Queen and her potential and I'm pretty sure bungie is wanting us to think the Queen is dead.
