From a business perspective: Who would be complaining if they didnt upgrade the endgame nightfalls and weekies to the new levels? Bungie would have to deal with pissed off players who paid for an expansion had those activities not been updated. So it comes down to upgrading endgame stuff to please paying players, or leave it at low levels with year one exotics to please people who dont want to pay for an expansion and rather want free handouts. Bungivision knows not to bite the hand that feeds them. Have fun losing against Bungie.

For the most part, they did it right with the first 2 expansions. Why change things for the latest? No one was left behind.

Started getting locked out if you didn't have the first DLC. Omnigul was NF all the time, so people who couldn't play NFs and heroics had to buy the DLC or start another game. It's a joke, however, on the bright side, this expansion was worth it.

If I am locked out of a strike I don't own, so be it. Same goes for the dailies. But to completely lock people out of previously paid for features...

Why should people who dont buy the DLC get new levels? They did it with the first two DLCs because it was easier just giving them the levels rather than majorly change anything. Since they added the new system of levels and light levels, it would do people no good to be level 40, since they wouldnt be able to get to high light levels due to restricted access to guns and gear.

We don't need the new guns and gear, just the old ones using the new system.

I don't really understand why anyone without ttk would want to play nightfall. Most people already have the year 1 exotics and they wouldn't be able to use any new legendary guns that dropped.
