Was anyone else kinda hoping we'd forge some sort of alliance with the Cabal, seeing as we had a common enemy in the Taken?
I didn't kill a single one of them in that mission, and once the Taken were cleared out I gave a friendly salute to one of the Legionaries. For a brief moment I thought his odd little grunt meant I had forged a new friendship in which we could cruise the solar system together wiping out our enemies.. only for him to open fire on me. :(

Maybe we could have a neutrality agreement. We don't shoot, they don't shoot. Peace is needed. Tragedies like the Elevator Cabal must be stopped.

I was kinda hoping we'd get more Cabal simply because I think they're more interesting than the Hive. Seriously, the Hive love is goddamn crazy. They're the most boring of the other races, and it's not even close.

I personally enjoy the Hive because they get terrifying as enemies at times ( endless waves of thralls, the end of Sunless Cell), but I agree Cabal need more lovin'.

Lore digging here. There is a Grimoire card with a conversation from Executor Hidou (Hideo?) hinting now we've destroyed most of the Cabal command they have to and he wants the Cabal empire to come to us possibly to form said alliance? Also 4th DLC Cabal empire arrive? Just a theory ay

Do you know which card that was? And based off the old leaked image of DLC, there was one titled "Forge of Gods" with a Cabal image, so I'm hoping we'll see more. Plus they already were broadcasting a signal back home, so I'm guessing someone heard.
