I never remember people complaining that BR's were overused in halo 2. Did you ever ask anyone in Halo 2 why they didn't change it up? Maybe go SMG instead?

Never liked BR but it was a lot more about aiming skill. Thorn granted the ability to be lucky more often than other games because of the dot. Halo didn't carry weapon with special abilities like kills regain health or Dot.

Sorry that went over your head, but I'm referring to the whole "best weapon in game" thing. You use what works the best in most situations.
