Should be a buff for NOT buying from Pez Dispenser Xur!
Should be a buff you maintain throughout the year called "Above All Else" similar to the Nightfall buff that makes head glow etc. Once you buy his -blam!-ing trash you lose it! Cya yo!
It doesnt need to actually do anything because people just seeing it will know your hardcore and EARN your shit.
-blam!-ing lazy Xurners could easily be spotted (when you dont see them groveling at his feet) and you could avoid them.
No offense, i just think they are worthless, they stink, and rather bring a half used can of mirolax into a raid.

You do realize you don't earn anything in destiny, because it is all random? If anything, xur is the pinacle of having earned something, because his items aren't randomly rewarded, you have to work to earn the resources to get his items.
