A cabal prison ship spirals out of the skies above Phobos, crashing into a fiery explosion. Out of the wreckage appears a hunter, dusting off the embers from his armor.
"Well... That wasn't so hard."
"[u]Master Korvic?[/u]"
"Yeah?"
"[u]I'm picking up a cabal distress beacon near this location.[/u]"
Korvic scratches his head, then points back at the wreck behind them.
"[u]No, not the prison ship.[/u]"
"Ok then, where?"
"[u]A nearby fire base, apparently being overrun by... Something...[/u]"
"Let's go check it out then."
The hunter and his ghost head off towards the distress beacon.

*Cregan approaches Korvic* "So you took down that prison ship"

"Yeah, wasn't that tough." "[u]By my count you needed to be revived at least 12 times, sir.[/u]" "Thanks... Jeeves. Thanks for letting everyone know that..."

*Cregan chuckles* "12? Are you a new guardian or just not that good?"

[b]a few screams are heard, both from taken and cabal as a titan attacks them, she uses a raze lighter to fight them[/b]

Korvic heads towards the source of the screaming, readying his handcannon.

[b]a shot hits the female titan, ripping the disguise off and revealing her as a knight[/b]

"Well.... There's something you don't see every day." Korvic fires at the knight, along with the other enemies in the area.

[b]the knight jumps behind cover and moves her hand above it to do the hive version of the middle finger[/b]

Korvic returns the favor.

[b]it yells at him, the voice female[/b] "What did I do to you?!?!?"

"Well waddaya know? It can talk. Well first off, being a god damn knight, not really a good first impression."

"I'm rogue! You couldn't tell from the taken I killed?"

"What in the Traveler's name is a taken??"

"You don't know what they are? You must be new to fighting oryx."

"Listen lady, I just got here, and I'm just trying to answer a distress beacon coming from that base over there."

"That would be due to the taken flooding the base, I was thinking that I could find some work if I helped them but they are getting slaughtered."

"Thanks for pointing me in the right direction."

"If I get out of cover and help you, will you promise not to shoot me?"

He was en route to a nearby cabal base that had released a distress beacon: something the cabal never do. "How much further to the base?" [i]Two kilometres north, just over that--[/i] "What is-- ...ah..." The sparrow turned to a halt just ahead if a crashed cabal prison ship, fumes and fire billowing into Phobos' thin atmosphere. The crash was obviously recent "Well, this just got more interesting" [i]What should we check first: the base or the ship?[/i] "Let go with the ship. There could be a treasure trove of valuable information within that junker" [i]...Could also be a treasure trove of cabal soldiers and vile prisoners...[/i]

Korvic clambered over the wreckage of the prison ship while talking with his ghost. "So how far off is this fire base?" "[u]Just a few kilometers west from here.[/u]" "Can you access the vehicle grid? See if we can get my sparrow down here?" "[u]Unfortunately no. Too much chatter, whatever happened here really has the cabal spooked.[/u]"

Too much interference of some sort[/i] "Leave it here. Not like a cabal can fit on it anyway" The duo began marching towards the crashed ship, scanning the environment [i]I'm picking up two other guardians nearby, one closer than the other[/i] "Where are they?" (Sry for late reply)

(It's K) "[u]Master Korvic, I'm picking up another Guardian's signal.[/u]" "Good, we could use some back up. Whatever has the Cabal in a frenzy, I don't want to face alone."

Switch emerged through some of the wreckage and found Korvic conversing with his ghost. "Well well, look who we've got here"

The two turn to face the guardian. "Hey there Guardian, you mind lending a hand?"

"Sure. I'm Switch-5 by the way, warlock member of the adepts" [i]ahem?[/i] "Oh, right. This is Marvin, my ghost" [i]'sup[/i]
