Nah. We lost quit a bit. It's like the wolves never existed. And you have to be level 40 to use legendary equip. Owell not like I'm going to stop playing. Just won't be able to use the cool stuff

Well they took the blades of crota out when how dropped. Makes sense. Also, legendary gear is new to you so you shouldn't be able to equip it without the new dlc. You still have access to all pre-ttk legendaries don't you?

Yes. They didn't take away the gear we had. So that was nice.

Nothing was taken away from you... You were only able to obtain gear to reach a certain level in the past. With how any gear could level up to 34. Currently you are at the level cap assumin you are 34. With ttk, 40 is the new cap. Without it, 34 is the new cap... You are proposing that vendors sell 34 gear? Or 32 gear that can be ascended to 34? With ttk being out, it does not make sense for that to happen. Even in the past you had to have the dlc to buy gear from a vendor.. With the exception of vanilla gear. Vanilla gear hasn't been a part of the game or sold by vendors since last December if i remember correctly.

Bungie have implemented a system where as people can no longer do weekly/ nightfall strikes without purchasing £40 dlc. That is fact no debate. Same with ToO and the revamped loot that requires level 40 to access it. ToO was sold as part of HoW and is now being locked away from the people that paid for the HoW dlc. If you think it is a sound business practice and are willing to pay I have no complaints but please do not deny the fact that bungie have put up a paywall for content that people already own
